Buffalo Perspective on NFL Combine: Cornerbacks The final day at the NFL Combine focused in on defensive backs. The Buffalo Bills are solid at safety right now with Donte Whitner and Ko Simpson and corner, though I feel the team could improve at corner. I analyzed the corner play a few days ago and I feel the team wouldn’t be hurt by adding another good corner. I liked what Terrence McGee and Jabari Greer brought to the team, but beyond that it’s a question mark next year with what Ashton Youboty is capable of. According to the Houston Chronicle, the Houston Texans are leaning towards drafting more than one cornerback in April’s 2008 NFL Draft.  If so, the prospects available to draft could be from a wide range of talent.    At the 18th pick in the draft there could be several, few or no NFL ready corners worth drafting to start opposite of second-year CB Fred Bennett in Dunta Robinson’s absence.  Robinson, who is recovering from a freakish knee and leg injury, should be back into November, but the Texans will need to gather depth at the CB position ...
