Alex Ovechkin had been a slump lately. This was one of his worst stretches in his young career, in which he had only scored 1 goal in his last 8 games. He got out of the slump last night though.
He scored 3 goals in the first period as the Capitals got off to a really quick start, scoring six goals in the first period. Damn and that lead them to finish with a 10-2 victory over the Bruins last night.
