Brock Lesnar would like to punch the mustache right off Steve Mazzagatti’s head (Video)
MMA Mania —
Let’s hope Frank Mir fares a little better than the wooden door that gets smashed at 1:24 of this video.

Breaking News: Brock Lesnar Is Not a Steve Mazzagatti Fan
CagePotato.com —
This clip from the UFC 100 "Countdown" show makes it seem as if maybe Brock Lesnar is displacing some of his rage over losing the first Frank Mir fight. Turns out he really hates Steve Mazzagatti, which we already knew, what with his specific request to have anyone but Mazzagatti work his bout with Randy Couture at UFC 91. But when you force him to watch the video of his loss to Mir the anger really comes to the surface. The things he hates about Mazzagatti include, but are not limited to:
1) His slow reaction time 2) His oversensitivity to the back of the head ...

Brock Lesnar Smash!
Watch Kalib Run —
(Don't make Brock Lesnar angry you wouldn't like him when he's angry)
Watching this video makes it difficult for me to take Brock Lesnar seriously.
Do I believe that Lesnar is angry about the loss to Frank Mir and Mazzagatti's poor refereeing, absolutely. But Brock's past with the WWE, and the subsequent promoting skills he had to learn, make this entire segment feel extremely disingenuous. This type of promoting is the nature of the beast I suppose, but it brings me back to the days of Bret Hart.
I think that if Brock Lesnar ever sees Vince McMahon ...

If Frank Mir was that door I would have been scared, but unfortunately for Brock Lesnar, the interim Heavyweight champion is going to punch back at the upcoming UFC 100.
UFC 100 Video: Brock Lesnar Infuriated by Frank Mir, Steve Mazzagatti
FanHouse —
by Michael David Smith Filed under: MMA Videos, UFC Brock Lesnar has two reasons to be happy about UFC 100: He's getting a rematch with Frank Mir (who beat him at UFC 81), and Steve Mazzagatti is not the referee this time. Speed Read: Manny Being Manny Being Ejected
SPORTSbyBROOKS —
The Manny Ramirez Traveling Salvation Show hit a snag last night in New York, thanks to an umpire with a hair trigger. Well, it’s hard to call anything about John Hirschbeck’s fifth-inning ejection of Ramirez “hair trigger,” since it took roughly 15 minutes seconds from when Hirschbeck rung Ramirez up on a called third strike to when he tossed Ramirez from the game for throwing his helmet, bat, elbow guard, cleats, socks and jock strap into the air in disgust.
Manny didn’t seem to think it was ...
Lesnar still has no love for the Mazz
Fightlinker.com —
Poor Steve Mazzagatti … he’s becoming the pariah of referees. It almost seems like Brock Lesnar is hyping a fight with the ’stache rather than Frank Muuuur the way he went off during the UFC 100 Countdown show:
And as he prepares for the rematch on Saturday night, Lesnar is getting motivated by anger toward Mazzagatti, both for the stand-up and for what Lesnar believes was Mazzagatti’s slow reaction to Lesnar tapping out when Mir caught him in a knee bar.
“I don’t know how many times I had to tap his leg,” Lesnar said on ...
UFC 100: Frank Mir Versus Hellboy
The Sporting Blog —
UFC 100 is Saturday, and the capper to the whole night of submission holds and swinging knockouts will be the rematch of Frank Mir and Brock Lesnar, the 3-1 former WWE Wrestler, white black guy, and closest thing around to an actual walking version of the comic book character Hellboy. (Just change the tint a little bit, and they essentially have the same build.) The match is one of extremes, meaning it is a very easy and compelling sell for UFC. Mir is a classic MMA insider, a jiu-jitsu freak looking to take the fight to the ground and end it with the twisting of a joint or a friendly forearm around the throat.
In contrast, Lesnar is a 265-pound ...

BROCK LESNAR SERVES ‘JUSTICE’ TO THAT DOOR
With Leather —
It’s kinda fascinating that former pro and amateur wrestling champion Brock Lesnar is a favorite in his rematch with Frank Mir at UFC 100 tomorrow night, especially since Mir beat Lesnar with a sneaky kneebar last February at UFC 81. But Brock feels less like the popular choice to win in the main event and more like a guy that’s been slighted by Mir, referee Steve Mazzagatti, the UFC film crew, the Care Bears, and whoever else you can think of. But that door totally had it coming. I could hear it laughing at Lesnar’s eyebrows. What do you tweeze with, ...

The Big, Raw, NBA-WWE Comparison
Outside the Boxscore —
So I'm definitely in the summer doldrums slump, but sports goes on. I'm not invested enough in baseball or football to care enough right now, so I've fallen to watching pro wrestling like I was 14 again. Let me say that it was 1998 when I was 14, as in right in the thick of the nWo, Monday night wars, and invasion storylines that drove the Attitude Era. Suffice it to say, things are different now. I've heard the current era called "the PG era," and it's just one more thing going slack during the recession. Still, things have to happen. Life doesn't stop long enough to always be interesting (though we try to make it so). Randy Orton, ...
