I went to the annual Tux & Tennies event on February 2nd and I thought I'd write a little recap of the event.   Lots of great Spurs stuff up for auction... including signed jerseys, sneakers and blown-up photos of our Spurs in various highlight moments of their careers.  The big four (Tim, Tony, Manu & Bruce) posing after last year's championship... Manu shirtless after winning Olympic gold... Tim & David after winning Championship #2.   Also up for auction were signed jersey's and sneakers from other NBA stars, including Steve Nash, Lebron James, Dirk Nowitzki, etc. The big auction prize of the night was a 2008 Cadillac ...

It seems that videos of the San Antonio Spurs' Tux N Tennies Charity Event from February 1st have started to leak out onto the internet. Basically, a bunch of the Spurs filmed themselves doing reenactments of a variety of musicals that they showed at the event. And I couldn't be happier. Why? While I'm hating on the Spurs...here are some horribly recorded videos of them making asses of themselves. The Spurs reenacted a bunch of musical numbers for their Tux N Tennies Charity Event, and lucky for us, the videos have found their way on to the internet. I'd give the Spurs credit for putting on a charity event, but really I just hate them too much. I'd much rather laugh at them. And so should you. See if this doesn't shake you to your core: Yes, Bruce Bowen reenacting a montage from Flashdance as part of some Spurs' charity event. Shudder. And there's more from where that came from!
