There. The title says it all. The player of the game stunned the Celtics, with the Hawks winning 97-92. Johnson was great. Period. He scored 35 points, 20 in the 4th quarter. We have a new clutch player stepping up on to the NBA scene.
The Celtics yielded a 10 point lead beginning the 4th quarter, losing by 5, thanks to Joe Johnson. Suddenly, the Hawks-Celtics series is knotted at 2-2. Here’s a little Joe Johnson fix from the 1st quarter, but do not let this be a substitute for watching the 4th quarter.

Even after Zaza Pachulia got in his grill, KG kept his hands at his sides and didn't retaliate. No one wants to see Garnett get tossed out of a close game for taking a swing; not the Hawks, who'd have their victory tainted, and not the Celtics, who'd be worried about a Game 5 suspension. Ok so things are getting really testy in the Hawks and Celtics series and it seems to be working in the Hawks favor. They have tied the series with the Celtics (who many people expected to win in a sweep) and they are definitely getting into the head of the leagues best team.
Whether or not they can put it all together and be this years Golden St Warriors, I dunno, but they already had a moral victory in this one, if that counts for anything. In this video Zaza Pachulia (who?) goes toe to toe with Kevin Garnett and he shows that the Hawks aren’t gonna be backed down easily.
