Back in New York, Ready for Game 5
No, You're a Towel —
It was an adventure, but I am finally back in the United States. I heard the Yankees won Game 2 from the flight attendant on the loudspeaker when landed. Games 2 and 3 I watched, for the most part, in a hotel's business center. For Game 3, I wasn't even staying at that hotel anymore. That's why it was an adventure. Amazing that Europe refuses to show American sports except on satellite. I know that Americans don't love soccer, but at least we show it on television. ...

I do remember ...

Chan Ho Park Is A Champagne-Popping Maniac
thefightins.com 27 days ago — I fully understand if a journeyman MLBer who has finally reached the World Series after 16 seasons of coming up short wants to go a little overboard in the celebration, but for some reason, I didn’t really expect that type of behavior out of ...
NLCS photos: Chan Ho Park celebrates first World Series trip
sports.yahoo.com 30 days ago — After reading through all the stories from the Phillies' NLCS celebration on Thursday night, it seems the overriding theme was that the party was more contained than in 2008. Business as usual. Bigger fish to fry. Bigger bottles to uncork. ...

Chan Ho Park Injury Lessens Chances for More Highlights

The way things are going, we're going to play the Cardinals anyway in the NLDS (and probably get smoked, but that's another topic altogether). But last night came news that Chan Ho Park's sore hamstring might get in the way of his making the divisional series roster, let alone undermine ...
