Just a quick story here...when I wrote my very first column, I took some shot at Chris Berman and was told to consider pulling it because, "people like Chris Berman" (that was the reason I was given). I can't get enough of Berman acting like the asshole we've always known him to be, and for that ampex2000 should win some kind sports humanitarian award. If ampex's interview with Deadspin is any indication, this might be the last of the underground Berman videos, so enjoy it. I haven't heard someone call Al Michaels "fuckhead" since... well, the last time I watched Sunday Night Football. But still, it's way more fun to watch someone famous do it.

Spring training is just getting started, and I plan to start rolling out Foul Balls' very own baseball previews next week, but spring training and my previews aren't the big story in baseball right now. The big story is the one I've been doing everything in my power to avoid talking about, but I've now realized that it's going to be impossible. Bill Walton recently criticized Shaquille O’neal for his seemingly improved enthusiasm towards playing this season. Shaq was injured and unhappy during his time on the Miami Heat, which caused him to sit out a chunk of games on the bench.
