BostonAngel I am sorry but I just don't see what you are talking about. I watched this over and over with an open mind and I just do not believe it was intentional. I admit I don't know all of baseball's rules but I watch and go to every game I can. I think, from what I am hearing other's say, that maybe Coco may have made a poor choice. But to say he was trying to break his ankle? C'Mon you are being absolutely ridiculous and I don't think Coco deserves that statement from you. Coco has always been a nice guy. Have you watched him at the Tropicana when he clowns around with Raymond? It is just NOT Coco's style to want to intentionally hurt someone. -
BostonAngel ~PS~ I now live in Florida and support The Rays too {even when they weren't popular} so it is not that I am favoring Coco. I just don't think it was intentional. I hope all this is over by the time I go see Boston and The Rays play here at The Tropicana June 30th.

We join the action already in progress: I m not sure, but I think Rick Sutcliffe does not appreciate that hard slide from Crisp. And, for maybe the first time ever, I d have to agree with Sutcliffe. That was just plain bush league. We learn more about the incident. This, from the game recap ...
Coco Crisp Gets Dirty
WaitingForNextYear —
In my talks with Terry Pluto, a guy that he seems to miss is Coco Crisp. Obviously, Jason Michaels didn’t exactly pan out as planned, so you can see why. However, the video below is one of the dirtier plays I have seen in baseball for quite some time - okay, maybe like a week or so, but still - and not exactly something you would expect out of the guy. Check it out for yourself: You hate to toss around the term “thug,” but that was obviously a goon-like move on his part. Even if the score were closer, it’s a bit on the dirty side. And while Pete Rose approves, the Devil Rays - obviously - do not. As The Sporting Blog ...
