Coffee is for Closers: Major League / Glengarry Glen Ross Mashup (video)
What the Cleveland Indians really need is for someone to light a fire under their collective ass. Enter the greatest Baldwin of all time, outside of the unrelated Animal Mother, to demonstrate the power of speech.

Coffee is for Closers: Major League / Glengarry Glen Ross Mashup
Tirico Suave — The Cleveland Indians have a bullpen ERA of 4.65, good for second to last in the majors. Betancourt was a disaster as a fill-in closer and the tribe is 1-9 in their last ten. Thank god Joe Borowski and his poor man’s Jamie Moyer ...

The Scorecard: All Mets fans aboard the Rays bandwagon!
Big League Stew — One of the best things I like about the Rays having the best record in Major League Baseball is that almost every fan outside of the AL East feels an affinity for them and has sort of adopted them as a second team. That's probably not surprising, given the exciting youth of their team and their previous stature as the league's doormat. But it wasn't until this morning that I actually saw a blogger renounce (albeit jokingly — I think) his own team in favor of Joe Maddon's crew. [MetsGeek] Elsewhere in the baseball blogosphere ... First prize of a Cadillac El Dorado goes to this great video mashup of the Major League locker room ...

Baldwin Reads The Tribe The Riot Act
The Mighty Quinn Media Machine — Here's a funny YouTube clip, courtesy of Tiricosuave.com. You could call it "Glengarry Glen Ross" meets "Major League." The Indians have had their problems with their closers this year, so this clip was made from the two films. It takes the "Coffee is for closers" scene with Alec Baldwin reading the Riot Act to the salesmen, and substituted it with the Indians players from "Major League." Great stuff, but be careful, as there's lots of colorful language in this clip, which lasts over two minutes. Hey, maybe the Mets can bring in the Baldwin character to get the underachieving Amazin's ...

Glengarry GlenRoss v. Major League
JV Sports — Nicely Done Tirico Suave. After a few more Borowski blown saves I think someone needs to make a mash up of that scene in Dumb and Dumber where Jeff Daniels takes an uber dump in the broken toilet with various walk off home runs that Joe-Bo will no doubt give up. [Ed. Note: I could have sworn this posted this morning. Sorry]
