Red Sox, Celtics Fan Runs Across Fenway Park
Published 6/4/2008 at FanIQ Blog
This classic NBA Finals matchup will definitely spur a lot of bets between longtime rival fans.  Apparently, the action got started a couple nights early at Fenway Park. Busted Coverage was able to track down this hilarious footage of a Red Sox fan, decked out in his favorite Celtics jersey jumping over the wall and racing across the outfield. The YouTube description clarifies the impetus for his stupidity - besides being a drunk Boston fan, of course: "This video was taken by my younger brother after a kid leaned into ...

The Idiot Fan From Last Night’s Red Sox Game
Published 6/4/2008 by Ian at SOX & Dawgs
If you’re a Boston Red Sox fan and were watching the game last night, you’ll remember the idiot fan who ran onto the field in a Celtics jersey. Here is the video of the incident with the description (from the video posting) first since we never see them on tv anymore. This video was taken by my younger brother after a kid leaned into his seat and told him he was going to slide into 2nd base because a bunch of Lakers fans gave him $100. Didn’t make it to second, but it was still hilarious. (Please open the article to see the flash file or ...

RED SOX FANS ARE ELUSIVE
Published 6/4/2008 at With Leather - Sports news and gossip for your impressionable young children
Getting blindside cold-cocked is not the fate of every fan who trespasses on Fenway Park's hallowed grass during a Red Sox game.  This spritely no-goodnik interrupts play and shows better speed and open-field moves than last week's slow-moving forearm sponge, weaving his way from right field to the stands on the third base side while dodging ancestors of the Keystone Kops.  Sayyyy, that fella rahns pretty fackin' good!  The Pats need ta get a white runnin' back ta go with Welkahhhhhh!!! Red Sox fan = fleet of foot

Your garden-variety baseball fan hooligan who runs onto the field at Fenway Park typically doesn't make it very far. In fact, as this video shows , the consequences for trying to play hero on the Fenway Park grass can be quite painful -- unless you happen to be this cat on Tuesday night: You know what really cheese me off? After reading that a fan had jumped the wall on Extra Bases last night , I scoured YouTube until after 2 a.m. trying to find footage of the thing. Something, anything! But nooooo . Then I come home from work this afternoon and it's on virtually every major sports blog in the country, from With Leather and ...

Video: Red Sox Fan Eludes Fenway Security
Published 6/5/2008 by Anthony Hall at MVN Outsider
Let’s give Boston fans some credit: If this video is any indication, they’re the best of the best when it comes to running onto the playing field and eluding stadium security. Take a peek at the video below, and watch a dude wearing a Celtics jersey make some moves on Fenway security that would make Adrian Peterson blush while attempting to run across the field. Here’s what the video’s caption on YouTube states: “This video was taken by my younger brother after a kid leaned into his seat and told him he was going to slide into 2nd base because a bunch of Lakers fans ...

Crazy Guy Runs Onto the Field at Fenway Park
Published 6/5/2008 by Stephen Kersey at Knuckle Curve - Baseball News
Check out this daredevil guy who jumped onto the field at Fenway Park when the Boston Red Sox were playing. He eluded security all the way to the other side of the field. He put on some nice juke moves that even Barry Sanders would be impressed with. However, do not try this at your home ballpark. The guy ended up in jail and will likely have to pay a large fine and do community service. ...

Here’s a video of a guy running across the field at Fenway; apparently some Lakers fans dared him to do it, and since he was wearing his Celtics jersey, I suppose he felt it was his duty to defend the Celtics honor. Just Another Quiet Day In The AL East [MLB Closer]
Published 6/6/2008 by Rick Chandler at Deadspin
His real name is Covelli Loyce Crisp, but you knew that. What you may not have known, is that Coco Crisp's father was a boxer, and his mother was a champion sprinter. So the Red Sox outfielder's actions on Thursday — charging the mound and throwing haymakers after getting plunked by the Rays' James Shields in the first inning — make perfect sense. As you can see in the video below, Shields really telegraphed that right hook, and left himself wide open for Coco's counter punch. That also appeared to miss, however. But that was only the beginning. The first rule about Baseball ...
