After starting the season with a mighty impressive 7–1 record, the Rangers have fallen back down to earth, winners of just three of their last ten games. But their bigger concern is what happened on Saturday night, when they ended a Western Canadian road trip by not only losing their second of three games, but by losing two of their four centers to injury.

Take a look at this hit, and then look at the hit by Mike Richards again on David Booth below. Glenncross gets 3 games for his hit and Richards gets none. I am not here to debate whether the hits were clean, dirty etc. I am here to say that the NHL better take a real hard look at how they are determining what type of hit warrants a suspension and what type of hit does not.
