I don't know how someone could approve a replay of a guy doing the "suck it" motion in a speedo and then say, "Oh crap...maybe we should apologize for that." But alas...this was the case last night. I'd be pissed if I were Shulman. He's the one that has to take the hit for someone else's dumb decision. Oh and Duke fans....seriously, you jumped the shark back in 1994. Try something new. Dan Shulman even went so far as to apologize to the viewers for having been forced to view a man in a small speedo. That's all well and good and I would like to apologize as well for posting this here, however I'll do a much better job of making it up to you.

I thought it was more funny than offensive, but then again, I can understand why someone might be pretty irked to see that footage aired. I mean, you don’t exactly tune into a Duke-UNC game expecting to see a dude wearing a Speedo gesturing toward his junk, so it was probably the correct decision for play-by-play announcer Dan Shulman to apologize.

There are a myriad of ways fans have tried distracting free throw shooters.
The coordinators shifting of hands from left to right. The stupid noise sticks. Jumping up and down. Personal favorite - the well timed unleashing of a bikini clad poster.
Suffice it to say, this is the first time I've ever seen The Charleston dance used. And as you might have guessed, it wasn't very effective. Manu wasn't fazed.
