The Roundup: Wilbon’s Back and Super Bowl Ads
Published 2/1/2008 by TheBigLead at The Big Lead
How about some F, Marry, Kill to start the day? We’ve got Megan Fox, Stacy Keibler, and The OC’s Autumn Reeser … we’ve sent a ton of these around, but after answering the questions, it came up with whom we think we’ll be voting for, so perhaps this one works! … the Onion tackles Barbaro … Nun’s computer was his gateway to porn … is there a new break in the Natalie Holloway case? … we’ve got a very good interview with a journalist coming later today …

Kudos to BradyFan83, who continues to produce epic YouTubes. As a non-Skins fan living in this town, I got a real kick out of this clip: [Kevin Mench-sized Cap Nod to The Big Lead on this]
Redskins Coaching Search -- 'Who The Hell Should I Hire'
Published 2/1/2008 at FanIQ Blog
I usually leave the Ryan Parker tribute song gems in the video section, but this one's too good. In fact, I'd put it in his top 3.
To the tune of 'We didn't start the fire,' Daniel Snyder gets the appropriate treatment.
WHO THE HELL SHOULD I HIRE?
Published 2/1/2008 at With Leather
The Maj sends us the latest from BradyFan83 returns to help The Daniel pick a new coach. What the fuck is going on over there, anyway? Hiring all these assistants before getting a head guy? Is he assembling a coaching staff? Or Voltron? I'm privately encouraging Maj to throw his name into the hat and apply, provided he can find a resume that doesn't smell like weed. -Monday Morning Punter [BradyFan83]
Dan Snyder: Who the Hell Should I Hire?
Published 2/2/2008 by Anthony Hall at MVN Outsider
If you’re a Redskins fan frustrated with Danny Snyder, or simply a ‘Skins hater taking joy from their bumbling search for a head coach, you should enjoy this:
Every week, the Washington coaching search becomes more befuddling. Snyder hired new offensive and defensive coordinators before hiring a head coach; Gregg Williams was the obvious choice to fill the coaching void, but Snyder ultimately decided against giving Williams the gig; it looked like a hiring of Jim Fassel as the new head coach was imminent last week, but that has yet to materialize.
And now, we’re hearing names like ...
Spagnuolo takes giant step to Redskins job
Published 2/4/2008 by Anthony Brown at Hog Heaven
Video by BradyFan83
Steve Spagnuolo made his strongest possible case to be the next Washington Redskins head coach when the Giants defense made paved New York’s way to the Super Bowl championship. The Patriots were overwhelmed. New England’s line had no answer for the Giants pass rush that kept glamour boy quarterback Tom Brady on the run most of the evening.
Washington fans saw the front end of Spagnuolo’s defense. The G-men found themselves in the second half of the Washington game in week three. To then, the Giants gave up 80 points in its first two ...

BradyFan83 Thinks Redskins Should Extend Coaching Search to Include, Well, Everybody
Published 2/9/2008 by Ryan Wilson at FanHouse
Filed under: Redskins, NFC East, NFL CoachingWell, this brilliant, courtesy of BradyFan83: That's right, because you can never have enough of the Redskins, Dan Snyder, Vinny Cerrato and Billy Joel. While Hogs Haven makes a legitimate case for Russ Grimm at least earning an interview, thanks to BradyFan83, I fully support any of the following: Frodo, O.J., Jeff Gillooly, Telly, Esther Rolle, and the most unlikely candidate: Art Shell. Via Hogs Haven (via Bucktown Skins Fan and Curly ...

I Award You No Points And May God Have Mercy On Your Soul

I went to a football game and a donkey show broke out. Wow. What can you say about the debacle that is the Washington Redskins? If you're Vinny Cerrato, you say "Who done what in the who?" and grab Mr. Dan another POM. If you're a Redskins fan, you're probably praying for the return of Jack Kent Cooke. I think they'd almost take George Preston Marshall back at this rate, racism and everything. It appears the Redskins coaching search has finally ended. The Washington Post is reporting that newly hired offensive coordinator Jim Zorn has been promoted to head coach. "We're proud that our search was ...
Redskins Hire Zorn
Published 2/10/2008 by Steve at SOX & Dawgs
The Washington Redskins will introduce their new head coach tomorrow afternoon at 3 P.M. When I first heard Adam Scheffter of the NFL Network break the news on Fox Sports Radio tonight, I said to myself “Sam Horn but he played baseball?’ Then I realized he said Jim Zorn.
Yup, Jm Zorn.
The same Jim Zorn who Redskins owner Dan Snyder just hired to be the offensive coordintor on January 26th. The same Jim Zorn, who has never held a position higher than quarerbacks coach until January 26th.
After all the secretive interviews and being snubbed by several candidates and actually firing one that was ...

After this I'm not mentioning Super Bowl 42 another iota, but I had to share my friend Steve's reaction to the Giants' victory: Like sex, best when unexpected. Not better than ’86-87, though, because it had been so freakin’ long and the demons had to be exorcised. You know about that a little bit (read: jab at red sox fan) Thanks for the sentiment. Still, the greatest post-season sight was the look on Jerry Jones’ face at the end of that game. Steve Steve is one ...
Busy Few Weeks in Sportsville
Published 2/12/2008 by Sturminator at Bob's Blog - Live from Lewisville
A quick check of the Sports Datebook tells us the following: The NBA Trade Deadline is Thursday, Feb 21. The NHL Trade Deadline is Tuesday, Feb 26. And, The NFL Free Agency Period begins, Friday, Feb 29. Let’s focus on the top 2 this morning, and how they pertain to our little champions here in Dallas. The Mavericks look awful, with another stinker in Philadelphia. How should this impact Feb 21? The Stars look amazing, with a franchise-tying win streak of 7 games. How should that impact Feb 26? I think in both cases, something should be done. Maybe not an earth-shaking over-haul, but to assume either ...
