Your College Football Play of the Week
Major League Jerk —
Just enjoy the beauty of a game winning TD pass with 13 seconds remaining on the clock in game that featured even more personal fouls than the Florida/Arkansas game.
Before the throw I said each of the following (I shit you not):
13 seconds is enough time to throw it 20-30 yards and bring in Weber…but he’s already missed 2 easy FGs tonight
Can Danny Sullivan even throw it 20-30 yards?
No really, that guy makes the wrong decision every single play.
Also, he looks like a chubby linebacker. ...
Six Points: What stood out from ASU’s win over Washington
Fanster.com —
It was sloppy–there’s no denying that fact.
But a win is a win, and the Arizona State Sun Devils will take their 24-17 victory over Washington. The win puts ASU at 4-2 for the season, and 2-1 in the Pac-10 as they prepare for a road trip to Stanford next Saturday.
So, what stood out about ASU’s win? Here’s six points I’d like to make…

You’ve got to be happy for Danny Sullivan. ASU’s senior quarterback was nearly in tears after his last game at Sun Devil Stadium two weeks ago. In a loss to Oregon State, the Tempe crowd ...
The Stunner Of Stunners
Fanster.com —
Just two weeks removed from one of the most stirring individual performances in Arizona State offensive history, it took Danny Sullivan 59 minutes and 55 seconds to work Chris McGaha into the game plan.
Not a second too son.
Sullivan’s 50-yard strike to the Devils’ playmaking senior capped off a 24-17 victory over the Washington Huskies in what will long be remembered as one of the most stunning finishes in ASU football history.
The result wasn’t as stunning as the play that clinched the victory. Looking at this score in a media guide for years to come, a simple seven-point victory over ...
Re-orientation: Florida may not be a beautiful and unique snowflake

Adjusting to the weekend's new realities.
Florida is beatable. Very beatable. The most distressing aspect of the Gators' skin-of-their-teeth win over Arkansas wasn't necessarily the near-miss itself as much as its predictability. The analogies between upset-minded Arkansas this year and last year's only Gator spoiler, Ole Miss, have been glaring for months: I looked at the Razorbacks' hyped transfer quarterback, veteran lineup, formidable pass rush and favorable landing on the schedule and pegged the 'Hogs as the most dangerous threat to Florida's bid for an undefeated season back in ...

The Top 12 ASU Plays of the Decade

Was the Sullivan-McGaha hookup to beat Washington ASU's play of the decade?During his press conference on Monday, ASU quarterback Danny Sullivan was still recapping his game-winning 50-yard touchdown pass to Chris McGaha with just :05 left to beat Washington.
Who can blame ...

The Doc Saturday crew peruses the weekly lines and pulls out a few shockers. Remember: There's a reason they're upsets.
Holly Anderson: Washington (–10) over Oregon.
By virtue of a coin flip, because why not? Starting with a high-profile eight-point loss to LSU in what was supposed to be a far more lopsided season opener, the Huskies have taken viewing audiences to the brink week after week -- in the last month, they've put together a three-point win over USC, a seven-point overtime loss at Notre Dame, a three-point win over Arizona and a three-point heartbreaker of a loss ...
