Danny Green Dunks On Greg Paulus, North Carolina Wins ACC Championship
FanIQ Blog — #1 North Carolina 76, #5 Duke 68 Ty Lawson playing in their first meeting would have helped, but so would have an effective Danny Green. Last night he led all scorers with 18, two of those coming on this beautiful posterization of one ugly Greg Paulus. The Tar Heels definitely have their flaws, but when playing at their pace and getting ridiculous quick and easy transition points their very tough to beat. Baring a first round ACC tourney loss and a subsequent Duke victory, UNC now has home court for through the regionals and that means I'll likely be penciling them into the Final Four. ...

Completely useless information about the NCAA Tournament: East Region
It's Just Sports — Last night, I felt the need to mention the NCAA Tournament in some way. But since my college basketball viewing this season consisted mostly of watching the most hated conference in America and a mid-major that didn't make it to the tourney , I am not qualified to offer much insight. Instead, I "analyze" things by embedding Jimmy Fallon videos and making fun of college journalists because ... well, because I'm a jerk. (1) Pitt vs. (16) East Tennessee State: We've written a lot about hair on this blog , but we neglected to mention that Levance Fields, who has been at Pitt for about 15 years, shaved his rows ...

frontrowsportsreport.com 3/9/2008 — The North Carolina Tar Heels went into hostile territory last night and proved that they belong at the top of the polls. Tyler Hansbrough climbing the ladder to many records
unc5corners.blogspot.com 3/9/2008 — For those of you that follow UNC on a regular basis this thread should be nothing more than a reminder of what you already know very well. For those of you that don't follow UNC or follow it as an outsider this should be a post that puts into perspective what Tyler Hansbrough, candidate for National Player of the Year, has meant to UNC in the last three years at Chapel Hill.
UNC beats Duke, claims ACC Title and probably #1 seed in the East
unc5corners.blogspot.com 3/9/2008 — It was a game that most thought would be close, the 225th meeting between two schools that have been in the upper echilons of the sport for so long. The fourth time that the winner of the game would win the conference outright (Duke was 2-1). The game that would prove if the absence of Ty Lawson would have made a difference or not.

deadspin.com 3/9/2008 — Yup, the magic of Speedo Guy and his Cameron crotch chops didn't prove enough to turn away the Tar Heels (though I did turn away). It's always a celebration when Dook goes down, but even more so when you can wash it down with more pics of ...
Forde: Carolina gets defensive in win
sports.espn.go.com 3/9/2008 — For the longest time this season, the knock of No. 1 UNC was its defense. But the Tar Heels put the lock down on Duke in the waning minutes of Saturday's win, and they looked like a favorite for the national championship in doing so, writes Pat Forde.
