If you spend a lot of time reading sports blogs, the odds are pretty good that in high school, you either knew or were, for lack of a better term ... kind of a dork. I think that's why I've begun to find Eli so endearing over the past couple of weeks. Once upon a time, I wished great physical harm upon him and his father, but now, I can't help but like the little doofus. His win in Super Bowl XLII is a win for socially-awkward doofuses everywhere. God bless him. And, as he demonstrated on Letterman last night, being a Super Bowl MVP has not strayed him a bit from his dork ...

Eli Manning Joins David Letterman On The Late Show

I believe Eli Manning might be coming out of his shell. The Super Bowl MVP joined David Letterman last night and whether his lines were planted or not, he was as amusing as any other athlete that's been on the Late Show. Eli jokes that Belichick must have left to beat traffic which got a good laugh and applause. The second portion of his appearance is below. Pretty soon every commercial is going to be featuring a Manning brother.
