Are The Wizards Slowly Wearing Down LeBron??
Hoops and Other Pop Culture —
I have to say that the Wizards' play appears to have actually begun to wear on LeBron. He looked very slow and tired toward the end of Game 5. But I guess being forearmed to the jaw, wacked across the head and intentionally pushed while in mid-air by guys 230-280 pounds will eventually get to you. You wonder where the league has been up until now (they finally suspended Songaila). If this sort of strategy had been employed by the Nuggets on Kobe Bryant, the Nuggets would have been unable to field 10 guys by game ...

Round 1: Washington vs. Cleveland
Chicago Bulls —
The series started out by Gilbert Arenas claiming that everyone wanted Cleveland in the first round. He was making the comment because the new pieces hadn’t yet clicked with the rest of the Cavaliers players. This would be the third straight time these two teams would be meeting in the playoffs and Arenas didn’t believe that Cleveland would send them home for a third straight year.
There would be some intrigue to this story. A one-on-one with DeShawn Stevenson and LeBron James would ensue and give this series the ratings kick it needed. Stevenson had called LeBron overrated and James simply responded by saying, I’m Jay-Z and he’s Soldier ...

Songaila Suspended
bulletsforever.com 5/2/2008 —
This has certainly sparked a discussion..seems like most fans from both teams consider this an unfortunate occurrence, especially in light of other NBA transgressions (KG ref push, Kidd take down of Pargo) which did not warrant suspensions.
David Stern warned that if LeBron was hit in the face again..the price would be paid. A hapless pre-judgment despite a seemingly unintentional violation.
56-48 Cavs at the half —

Cleveland is moving the ball well and knocking down shots and that the Cavs were able to use a 15-0 second quarter run to take this lead. The key is Daniel Gibson, who has 15 points on 6 of 10 shooting. The Cavs are shooting 53.5 percent. If the ...
