As part of Kids’ Opening Night on Saturday, November 1 when the Pistons host the Washington Wizards, twelve kids, between the ages of 10 and 14 will get the opportunity to experience the life of an NBA star.

LeBron took the night off. Beating a Lebron-less Cavs is like that whole “if a tree falls in the forest and no one’s around…” thing. Especially in this case though. It was a preseason game with no local TV coverage. The whole forest could have been leveled and know one would have really cared. {boxscore}
The game was played close in the first half with the two Central Div. rivals going into the tunnels knotted at 40. The Pistons then turned up the D and ran away from the James gang in the second half outscoring them 57-39.
Tayshaun finally had a game worth mentioning with 17 points (7/10 ...

As part of the Pistons Kids' Opening Night next Saturday, twelve kids, between the ages of 10 and 14, will get the opportunity to experience the life of an NBA star. Sort of. The randomly selected winners will spend time in the Pistons practice facility, receive a backstage tour of The Palace, and have the chance to kick Hooper in the shins. One lucky winner will also have the opportunity to introduce the starting lineups ala Mason. No pressure, kid.
