From the chatroom, Chad Ford is reporting that the Cavs and Bulls might or might not have been talking about this deal. Ben Wallace, Chris Duhon and Joe Smith to Cleveland for Drew Gooden, Donyell Marshall, Ira Newble, Shannon Brown, Devin Brown and Cederic Simmons … unless Ilgauskas is in this deal. Waiver Wire Line of the Night: In the spirit of the Bulls playing shorthanded, Tyrus Thomas (4.2) started at the 4 and finished with 18 points, 11 rebounds and 3 blocks. It’s almost a shame he played so good since Drew Gooden will be arriving shortly to push Thomas back to irrelevance. Now, fresh in our heads, is the memory of how good Thomas can be if given the minutes.Zoner's Monday Morsels

The news isn't surprising, but that doesn't make it any less enervating: Chicago Bulls interim coach Jim Boylan is rumored to be thinking about benching starters Tyrus Thomas and Thabo Sefalosha ( or Kirk Hinrich ) for former Cavaliers Drew Gooden and Larry Hughes .
