Formerly, Pacman; Currently, Used Car Salesman
Published 7/26/2008 by Cousins of Ron Mexico at The Big Lead
When Pacman Jones offers you $0 down and 0% APR, you take it. Via Dallas Cowboys Examiner: Payments so low, you could make it rain with the savings! Ha. Good one. /self-high-five I think it’s great Adam Jones is selling cars now, but what I really need is some money to pay my bills. I say put him in a question mark suit and have him take his monotone sales pitch on the road.

Adam "Pacman" Jones Makes His Acting Debut With Deion Sanders For DriversSelect
Published 7/26/2008 at FanIQ Blog
One good piece of news from this NFL offseason is that Adam "Don't Call Me Pacman" Jones hasn't gotten himself into any trouble at all. I don't know if he's actually turned the corner or not, I'm not patrolling Dallas area strip clubs, but he seems to be making a concerted effort to fly straight. Luckily for him, and us, his changed attitude has resulted in him doing a rather hilarious commercial with Deion Sanders about getting a second chance.....on car loans. What, you thought it was going to be a motivational message for kids? Please. I'm not sure what I love most about ...

Prime Time Gives Adam, Er, Pacman A Second Chance
Published 7/26/2008 by Adam at Pacman Jonesin' | Game Over, Byotch
One of the more contrived P.R. attempts we’ve seen, but at least Deion Sanders is trying to help a brother out. When you have to tell people that you’ve changed your name from Pacman, yeah, probably not going to stick. You’ll always be Pacman here. I’d rather bet on the Super Bowl being Cards-Raiders than bet on Pacman keeping his nose clean as Adam. I wonder if there are any NFL lines on when he’ll first get arrested?

What Will It Take for Adam Jones (Formerly Pacman) to Put You in a New Car Today?
Published 7/27/2008 at FanHouse
Filed under: Cowboys, NFL FansAll it took was a visit to Michael Irvin's radio show, a little public contrition, temporary reinstatement, and a name change, and the endorsement deals have started rolling in for Dig Dug Jones. Suh-weet. And he's even getting better at reading the cue cards! (Somebody used their one-year suspension to better themselves.) I would've loved to hear the Drivers Select marketing meeting where somebody pitches the "hey, why not have Pacman pimping cars?" idea. That it got to this point is a testament to, well, I have no ...

Pitchman Jones?

Adam "Pacman" Jones Gets His First Dallas Endorsement Deal [Pacman Jones]
Published 7/28/2008 by Clay Travis at Deadspin
I think I speak for everyone when I say, "This is Adam Jones; formerly Pacman. I've learned how tough it is to get a second chance," is the most persuasive opening to a commercial in the history of television. Particularly with the 1970's r&b; background music. How much money did this company have to pay Deion and the former Pacman to shill for them? Can leasing cars to people without credit really be that profitable? Anyway, nice wardrobe choice on the orange jersey; formerly prison jumpsuit. Formerly Pacman; Currently Used Car Salesman [The Big Lead] ...

Pacman Articulates In Commercial….Sort Of
Published 7/28/2008 by Juice Staff at NFLJuice.com
Deion Sanders is pretty good in front of the camera.  He’s articulate, confident, and easy to follow.   Then, there’s Pacman  Adam.  It’s pretty apparent that Jerry called in a “favor” to the former Cowboy great with the following request: “Hey Deion, can you mentor my new troubled signee, get a few commercials under his belt, teach him how to function in society…..yadda, yadda, yadda?”   Watch the video.  Then call Driver Select today.  It’s a great offer.  It is for you. [smile at camera].  See how you can save today.  [point ...

Does Pacman make you want to buy one of these cars?
Published 7/28/2008 by houroc at SportFiends
Everyone needs a second chance in life sometimes. We all make mistakes. Adam “Don’t Call me Pacman, but you can call me Carsalesman” Jones, wants you to know that even if you’ve messed up in the past you can still get a whip. Jones teamed up with Deion Sanders in these commercials to help sell cars for what I’m assuming is a Dallas Car dealership. Honestly, he doesn’t make me want to buy a new car but if he brought out some hoes and started throwing dollars, I might reconsider. Tags: pacman jones, deion sanders ...

Pacman would still like to help you get a Hummer
Published 7/28/2008 by MJD at Shutdown Corner
A few weeks ago, we had video of Pacman Jones shooting a commercial for Camel Chevrolet Drivers Select alongside his friend and mentor, Deion Sanders. Today, via Deadspin, we have the finished product. All this time has passed, and that was the best take they could get out of Pacman? My goodness. You can relax, Morgan Freeman. I don't think Pacman's going to be stealing any roles from you, anytime soon. I'm pretty sure that there's better acting in every movie Pacman Jones has ever seen, and I say that with the belief ...

The worst car dealership evar
Published 7/29/2008 by DCScrap (noreply@blogger.com) at on 205th magazine: Stuff Guys Like. [Pop Culture For Men]
How bad off does a car dealership have to be to sign Adam "Pacman" Jones to be it's spokesperson? Seriously. Let's just get past the fact that he is a known criminal and focus on the fact that he flat out sucks as a speaker. Wow. And no, having Deion Sanders in the commercial does not make the choice of Pacman any better... H/T: Deadspin ...

Pacman Jones is a letter-writer
Published 8/14/2008 by MJD at Shutdown Corner
Roger Goodell's going to have an interesting piece of mail on his desk sometime in the next few days. Pacman Jones told the Dallas Morning News that he'd composed a letter to the commissioner, formally asking to be reinstated. When the Dallas Cowboys arrived here, Adam Jones went to work. The cornerback grabbed a laptop computer and typed a 1 ½-page letter to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell asking for a full reinstatement to the league. Jones said the letter will be mailed Thursday. "I'm feeling real good," Jones said following Wednesday's practice with the ...
