Okay … I have no idea whether this is a set-up or publicity stunt … but it doesn’t seem like it is.
On Wednesday, 8/6/08, some online sports video site called Mouthpiece Sports was doing some interviews outside Wrigley Field.
Some blue-painted idiot decided to dump a Gatorade tub full of water on the head of a lovely blonde reporter who was interviewing people.
The reporter’s reaction makes me think that it she was not expecting it …her sound guy seems pretty stunned too. Nice how her camera guy just keeps recording.

Somebody probably should’ve informed Mouthpiece Sports’ on-scene reporter Molly Dapier that Cubs fans, particularly those in blue body paint, are insane and possibly dangerous.
On Wednesday, Dapier was interviewing people outside Wrigley Field when an enterprising, half-naked, blue Cubs fan got the idea to dump a Gatorade cooler full of water over her head. Video idiocy after the jump.

While Erin Andrews has been in the news a lot recently, the reporter in this video isn’t Erin Andrews. However, watching how Cubs fans treat female reporters, Erin Andrews should probably keep her distance from Wrigley Field.
In this video, you see a Cubs fan pick up a Gatorade tub and dump it on the head of a reporter. While it looks a little bit like a setup, reports indicate that this is indeed legit. Unless the reporter won some sort of reporting championship we aren’t aware of, the dumping of Gatorade was probably inappropriate.
