I know I am a couple of days late in writing this blog, mainly because while I know the date by heart, March 23rd, I did not have the strength/power to write it out because it is painful. A year ago, as most of the North Carolina basketball fan base was waiting/hoping in another great run for the Heels, Jason Ray passed away in New Jersey, struck by a car. As I chatted on the PlayitUSA web board, the topic of the North Carolina mascot came up thanks to me and a friend of mine (his nicname is Alvise) pulling punches about something else.
