I think it is safe to say that Emmitt Smith was a better football player than he was an ESPN NFL analyst. Very sadly though, Emmitt has been left go by ESPN which was first reported by Mike Florio of PFT. Emmitt was mostly known as an ESPN analyst who had trouble finding his words and even sometimes making up words. However, he did provide some solid analysis and his legacy as being the all-time rushing king helped his cause of being hired. Good luck to Emmitt wherever he ends up.
