  I used to think she was just another "pretty face side-line reporter", but the more I hear her talk, the more I respect the hell out of her. 

  Too many reporters (both male & female here) sound like idiots once they get off their script.  In a era of TV "journalism" that emphasizes that females should be hot, she seems like the real deal.  She seems genuine.

I don't know how we all missed this but Erin Andrews was on CNBC's Big Idea last week for a sit down with Donny Deutsch. Lucky for us The Sports Point has pulled the video.... She's not really saying anything different than she has in past interviews, but it's interesting to see how far she's come. Why is she on CNBC again? There's no question that it's tough to do what Erin Andrews does. She has to ask college and pro athletes ridiculous questions while being gawked at by horny fools pretty much 24/7. Erin Andrews, the poor thing, has the misfortune to femaie while sporting, meaning she gets thousands of ogling eyes judging her not just on the television screen, but also on the internet. The internet is way worse for her because on tv, you're there, and then gone; on the internet, you're right there from all angles forever, something she seems acutely aware of in this interview with Donny Deutsch. She has a very legitimate point: women are treated abhorrently on the internet by anonymous men who, if the same scrutiny were applied to them, would collapse into piles of weeping blubber. Erin Andrews was interviewed about her feelings about bloggers constantly blogging about her. She said that sometimes she feels kind of creeped out by it but honestly I think she should be more creeped out by things like this or this.
