LeBron Defeats Heckling Fan AGAIN
Fantasy Basketball Pros — Courtside fans in Toronto and Portland are biting their tongues now. Apparently all LeBron James needs to be successful in the 4th quarter of a tight game is some motivation from some heckling courtside fans. In the first crazy instance in Toronto on January 6th LeBron scored 24 points in the 4th quarter after the girlfriend and cousin of Toronto Raptors Center Chris Bosh began heckling LeBron because of his poor first half shooting. Apparently the memo didn't reach Portland, where last night a rowdy fan was apparently the reason for LeBron's explosion in the 4th quarter as well. The heckling prompted LeBron to drop 17 points in the final 12 ...

Nike Chairman Phil Knight and Nike Basketball Senior Director Lynn Merritt (the man who recruited and ultimately convinced Knight and Nike to sign James out of high school) were leading the cheers for King James. LeBron didn't disappoint the people who are paying him a reported $90M. He poured in 37 ...

The Difference Between an MVP and an All-Star
20secondtimeout.blogspot.com 1/31/2008 — If you are not sure what the difference is between an All-Star and an MVP-level player, all you had to do was watch Cleveland's 84-83 victory over Portland on Wednesday. Brandon Roy, who should make the All-Star team, had 16 points, eight assists and seven rebounds. LeBron James, an MVP-level player, had 17 points--in the fourth quarter.
