Mercury Morris Likes Airplay, Still A Complete Idiot
Published 2/4/2008 at FanIQ Blog
If there was any reason to root for the Patriots to go undefeated this year, it was so we'd never have to see this jackass again. But the Giants won, and so who does ESPN call? Regreattably not Ghostbusters, but instead Mercury Morris. He reminds us how great his '72 Dolphins team was, while also informing us that he spent the whole first half on an online site called Airplay. Now that's critical information. He also reminds us, in a different way, of why you should never, ever do cocaine.

You are the worst run organization in the history of ever. Thank you for making me wait more than 30 minutes for an effin’ Red Line train at White Flint you assclowns. Because of you, I missed most of the first quarter of the Super Bowl. Because of your stupid plan to do track maintenance on a Sunday afternoon at friggin’ Medical Center, I was late for the friggin’ biggest sporting event of the year. And might I ask why you do maintenance on a Sunday afternoon? You are not a 24-hour operation. You close your friggin’ doors at midnight on weekdays. You can do your crapfaced repairs at another time, you know like when you’re ...

Perfectville, Population (still): 1
Published 2/4/2008 by Dave H at Pink Hat Nation
What a game, and what a huge upset of the Patriots! Rather than blogging myself, here is '72 Dolphin Mercury Morris for his reaction: Sorry Mr. Belichick, your application has been reviewed by the Perfectville Homeowners Association, and been denied. ...

Mercury Morris will never die
Published 2/4/2008 by PostmanE at The Postmen // A Sports Blog // Chicago, IL.
See what you did, Giants? See what your plucky, come-from-behind implausibility does to the rest of us? You’re no better than Rick Neuheisel. You enable douchebags. You’re d-bag enablers. This video wouldn’t even be postworthy if Morris weren’t lying through his fucking teeth for three minutes. Humbled? Does Mercury Morris sound humbled to you right now? He is the exact opposite of humbled, and what’s worse, he doesn’t even have the courage of his egotistical convictions to fully admit it. I actually found myself cheering for the Giants last night, and ...

If you haven’t already seen the video, here is an interview with the 1972 Dolphins’ Mercury Morris. It took place literally minutes after the game was over. You can just feel the sense of relief in his voice. We all know he was scared. ...

PATS CHOKE!! '72 DOLPHINS REMAIN ONLY UNBEATEN!!!

That picture says it all. Tom Brady was under constant pressure all game long. And that Patriots defense, when it needed to make a play, couldn't do it. More on this later. For now, let's hear from Mercury Morris:

Mercury Morris Tears Up for Giants Win
Mercury Morris has become the outspoken spokesman for the 1972 Dolphins and their death-grip on the only undefeated season in modern NFL history. He was available to anyone who wanted to talk about the undefeated season. Now, he's drinking the champagne as he knows that the Dolphins just dodged their closest competition for perfection. He may have worn aqua during his career, but on Sunday ...
Super Bowl Prediction: Why The Giants Will Win 31-27
No, I haven't been drinking. OK, maybe a little. I'm not just pulling a contrarian Skip Bayless prediction here, I actually do think the Giants will win tonight and here's why. Granted, I could come up with a laundry list of reasons the Patriots could win, but in the end Mercury Morris is going to be rapping. Michael Strahan and Osi Umenyiora will win the battle against Nick Kaczur ...
Welcome To Perfectville
There's only one good reason that the Football Season is over and it's because we won't have to hear about these chuckleheads for at least another year. Live it up Dolphins... Cute ad I guess, but with the way that people feel about Mercury Morris I don't know if Reebok made the right choice with this one.

Super Bowl XLII Fallout: Mercury Morris Gets to Keep Yapping
When they completed the first 16-0 regular season ever by dispatching of these same New York Giants in the Meadowlands six weeks ago, the New England Patriots had officially stepped foot on Mercury Morris' block. After defeating the San Diego Chargers in Foxborough in the AFC Championship Game, the Pats strolled up his walkway. When Tom Brady hit Randy Moss for the go-ahead touchdown with ...

Population in Perfectville remains at one
This morning on ESPN’s Sunday NFL Countdown, former Dolphins running back, Mercury Morris came as close as he ever has to welcoming another team to Perfectville . “The population here is one,” Morris said. “At the end of the day, it may be two. Then again, it may not be.” The New England Patriots were on the ‘72 Dolphins block and they had started ...
Suck it, Mercury Morris.
I know, I know, the '72 Dolphins popped the champagne one more time at around 10:00 tonight, and I'm extremely pleased that the Patriots didn't win this evening. That said, shut it, Mercury & Co. Your act was old about 20 years ago. Do you guys understand you are no longer competing at the sport in which you once dominated? True competitors do understand that records are set to be ...
Mercury Morris Misses the Point on 1972 Dolphins' Super Bowl Underdog Status
Notes on a trip to the Super Bowl . Mercury Morris, the running back from the undefeated 1972 Dolphins who has become a minor celebrity over the past few months by never missing a chance to tell America that his team is better than the 2007 Patriots, has been trotting out a new line lately: "We were the underdogs." In his promotional appearances for the Reebok "Perfectville" advertising ...
Perfectville
PHOENIX -- Among the many reasons to root for the Patriots to win Super Bowl XLII is that, if they win, you'll never again have to hear from Mercury Morris and the '72 Miami Dolphins, who currently are the only NFL team in the Super Bowl era to finish a season undefeated. The mouthy Morris was one four members of the '72 Dolphins -- the others were Jim Kiick, Larry Little, and Garo ...
