The Wiz of Odds — Michigan receiver Greg Mathews has his eyes gouged by Florida linebacker Dustin Doe in the Capital One Bowl after the Wolverines scored a second quarter touchdown. No flag on the play, but consider that New England Patriots defensive lineman Vince Wilfork was fined $15,000 by the NFL on Friday for poking a finger inside the facemask of New York Giants running back Brandon Jacobs last weekend. College Football Forum — How did I miss this? Our buddy The Wiz over at The Wizard of Odds sent the clip below. In it, Florida linebacker Dustin Doe goes all WWF on U-M's Greg Mathews, trying to purposely gouge him in the eye after a Michigan TD. As The Wiz noted, no penalty was called on the play.
