Ganging up on one guy is never cool, but I've gotta think he was at least some kind of douche. Who attends game-watching parties in the opposing team's gym?

Celtics Fan Beaten Up By Lakers Hooligans Fans
FanIQ Blog — In an effort to help the Lakers or something while they were on the road in Boston, Lakers fans were allowed to watch Games 1 and 2 of the NBA Finals at the Staples Center. It didn't work out so well, as Boston's now up 2-0. But at least Lakers fans were able to deliver the beat down that there team couldn't. Some Celtics fan showed up at the Staples Center in a jersey and promptly got his butt kicked by a mass of Lakers hooligans backers. By the way, let me just tell you one thing. Never, ever go to an event like this. This isn't like going to a regular Lakers game ...

Lakers fans jump a Celtics fan
Hail Mary Jane — Ok so in an effort to support the Lakers, their fans were allowed to go to the Staples Center and watch game 2 last night.  The team still lost despite the fact that they made a valiant comeback in the end. The Lakers did have one beatdown though but it wasn’t on the court.  One Celtic fan showed up at the Staples Center and the Lakers fans showed him the kind of love that Los Angeles is known for by kicking his ass. Welcome to LA. ...

To Live, Lose And Be Pummeled In L.A. [NBA Finals]
Deadspin — You might think it's a good idea to show up at one of those "viewing parties" at the stadium of the visiting team during championship series. What's safer than the Staples Center? Well ... That's actually a substantial fight, one worthy of praise; had there been a game going on, they'd have broken it up so much sooner. We hope this was a run-of-the-mill dispute, the kind that happens when you file thousands of people into a confined space to watch the home team stink it up for three-plus quarters. If someone was wearing a Celtics jersey, at the Staples Center for a non-game, they probably ...

YouTube of the Day II: Fan fight at Staples Center
Ball Don't Lie — In an effort to harness and telepathically send the collective energy of some 10,000 homers to the Lakers while they were playing in Boston, Lakers fans were allowed to watch Games 1 and 2 of the Finals in the Staples Center. Unfortunately, so were Celtics fans. Yep. Bad idea blue jeans. You know, that is exactly what the BDL live blog would look like if we did it in-person. So, my place, Tuesday night?

Making His Point
RedsArmy.com - The Voice Of Celtics Fans — We’ve caught some crap recently for various statements.  One being the coaching matchup is overrated… yet we’re still waiting for Phil Jackson to start out-coaching Doc.  Another is that Rajon Rondo needs to be in the Chris Paul/Derron Williams conversation when you’re talking about great young NBA ...

Lakers (Fans) Beat Down Celtics (Fan)
FanHouse — Filed under: Celtics, Lakers, NBA Fans, NBA Playoffs, NBA Videos The Lakers open up the Staples Center for road Finals games to allow the fans the chance to congregate and root for the team in a central location. But as is so accurately pointed out over at Fan IQ, these aren't your typical NBA fans: By the way, let me just tell you one thing. Never, ever go to an event like this. This isn't like going to a regular Lakers game where the high seat prices will keep Paul Pierce's gang banger friends out of the stands. That dude with the ...

Celtics fans used to be smarter.
Clubhouse Cancer — So, they open up Staples Center for free so Lakers fans can witness road NBA Finals games in more of a ‘live’ type atmosphere…which is typically pretty cool. Unless you are wearing a Celtics jersey, naturally. No offense to the retarded, but you have to be plain ‘ol mentally stunted just to go to ...

Get Me Muggsy Bogues, STAT - Evening Hardwood June 9
The AltRaps Blog — Ah, if Keon Clark only had forward vision. It seems that if you laced ‘em up on an NBA team at some point in your life, you need to get back in touch with your old agent and have him crank up the celly….you could be in line for a multimillion dollar coaching gig. Ex-Raptor Michael Curry is looking at pulling in $2.5mil a year ...

Who Said Laker Fans were Wusses?
Larry Brown Sports — Sometimes words are not needed. Enjoy. That’s what happens when you come to LA and root for the other team. Got that? And you thought LA fans were soft? Uhhhhhh!!!!! That’s what we’re all about. Not really. I guess those were some hooligans watching Game 2 at Staples Center. Next time use some common sense, buddy, instead of rolling with Celtics colors to the arena of the opposing team. Laker, Celtics’ Fans On Cusp Of Civil Warfare
Busted Coverage: Booze, Ladies And Football —  That better not be a Sasha Vujacic jersey This NBA Finals hatred between Laker fan and Celtics hooligans has gotten out of control. Jersey’s are being burned, F@ck Boston shirts are being worn, a banished ref drops a bombshell, there has been violence and we haven’t even gotten to Game 4.

Bring This Guy To Boston
RedsArmy.com - The Voice Of Celtics Fans — This guy needs to be in Boston if we throw a victory parade.  He’s Gabriel Mendivil… and he’s the guy that got jumped at the Staples Center.   The Boston Herald tracked him down and he’s dreaming of coming to Boston to witness a parade.  If anyone is ...

No Staples viewing in Game 6
Lakers Blog — ... a public showing of any upcoming playoff games from Boston. Because of concerns for resources needed to ensure the safety of fans throughout Los Angeles on nights when the games would be played as well as potential financial burdens on various City departments, we came to this decision. On behalf of the Los Angeles Lakers, we encourage all of our fans to enjoy the upcoming games with friends and family and celebrate the championship run in a safe, responsible and respectful manner. Too much of ...

Lakers Fans TOO Passionate
RealClearSports - Blog — Just hours ago I posted about how Laker fans aren't always the most die hard fans. But, there are many who are in fact, extremely passionate. Here is what happened at the Staples Center while viewing Game 2 that took place in Boston: ...

When Laker Fans AttackCelticsBlog
I don't mean to trivialize this, I hope the guy is ok and I don't know at all what happened to start this fight, but it appears that a Celtics fan showed up to the Lakers stadium in a Celtics jersey and got a whole lot of punches throw his way.
