Unless you enjoy following mediocre baseball teams in Chicago, you may not know that White Sox pitcher Gavin Floyd lost his bid for a no-hitter last night with one out in the ninth inning against the Twinkies. It's the second time Floyd has taken a no-hitter into the late innings this season. He held Detroit down for 7 1/3 innings in mid-April.
