Freshman Guard Jonny Flynn of Syracuse followed up his SU record setting night by on ly scoring 3 points on Tuesday Night. But those 3 points were the difference as #25 Syracuse beat St. Joseph's in the second round of the Pre-Season NIT. This sets up a matchup between 'Cuse and Ohio State next Wednesday in Madison Square Garden. There is a new excitement in Syracuse that hasn't been here since Carmelo Anthony left after bringing an NCAA Title his freshman season. Coupled with the SU Football teams struggles, this is a much needed boost as central NY'ers head toward lake effect snow and freezing temps.
