docksquad33 Chi town gets a shout out! -
EthanJaynes I can not believe I am the only person that thinks this interview was very annoying. ABC/ Tafoya/ ESPN should have given them a minute or two to let the most important moment in their lives to soak in.
Am I stupid? I think a minute of silence on the air would have been great. Less is more during moments like this. He was crying. Bill Russell was standing right behind him.
On the other hand, we would not have caught those great quotes. :-)
Great Vid as always Odenized.

“I can be better. I will be better.”
- Kevin Garnett
Congratulations are in order for everyone in the Celtics organization. Everyone in the rotation, coaching staff and front office. We knew you had it in you.
Without question, the Boston Celtics were the most complete team in the NBA this season.
There’s no way Boston wins this title without contributions from key free-agent acquisitions like James Posey, P.J. Brown, Eddie House and Sam ...

Check out KG right after he won the NBA Title! Haha, this is awesome and definitely priceless! Only thing missing from KG was a Ronnie Fields shout out! That would have been sick, but we will take this one for sure... ...
Worst of Game 6 of the 2008 NBA Finals
Basketbawful —
Note: First, I'd like to thank Hersey for the photo of Big Baby posing with the Larry O'Brien Trophy. (Supahstah!!) Second, excuse me if this post is rambling and poorly written. I've been waiting 22 years for this. As a consequence: I can't brain today. I have the dumb. The Los Angeles Lakers: Damn. I mean...damn. Game 6 was a massacre. It was a slaughter of epic, even Biblical proportions. And I'm talking real wrath-of-God type stuff. Fire and brimstone coming down from the sky! Rivers and seas boiling! Forty years of darkness, ...
Anything's Possible for KG, Including a Nutritious Breakfast
The Undrafted Free Agent —
You might have heard that the Celtics won last night. It's true. Kevin Garnett, previously a doubter, realized anything is possible, even him winning a championship. Of course, with victory comes many honors, the most prominent of which is Wheaties! Kevin Garnett with a proper jumpstart to his day? NBA, watch out for the repeat! ...

You already know this, but it's worth repeating one last time
Bullets Forever —
Congrats to the Celtics on a fine year and championship #17. When it comes to the Celtics-Lakers rivalry, I'd say that I'm more inclined to root for the Lake Show, but throughout these finals I couldn't help but root for this team. There's no doubt that in my mind that this was the best team all season, and they ...

KG Is Emotional
RedsArmy.com - The Voice Of Celtics Fans —
Kevin Garnett is simply not human. The look on his face beginning at the 8 second mark of this video is insane. And I don’t mean “wow, that’s awesome” insane. I mean “this guy might be performing a satanic ritual” insane.
I never, ever, expected this in the KG trade. ...
Celtics v. Lakers - Quick Thoughts on Game 6, The Close Out
Truth About It - Washington Wizards Blog —
From ABC's report....Kevin Garnett got all of the Celtics (including Ray Allen who seemed to be the biggest surprise) eating PB&Js before games? I wonder which Celtic wears the banana suit? Ahh...peanut butter and jelly, more American than apple pie....as I doubt GI's in WWII had time to bake a damn pie. I've got one friend/co-worker who eats pre-made PBJs, as an afternoon snack, out of the cooler from the little store on the first floor of my work building in downtown DC.....and I've got another friend I've known since ten who claims to have never eaten a PBJ. Poor ...
The 10-man rotation, NBA Finals edition
Ball Don't Lie —
A look around the league and the web that covers it. It's also important to note that the rotation order and starting nods aren't always listed in order of importance. That's for you, dear reader, to figure out. C: WallStreetFighter. "Anything is possible, KG?" Um, that's not adidas' slogan. Try "Impossible Is Nothing." PF: Joe Posnanski, via The Big Lead. The definitive word on the ongoing Kobe-Jordan debate. SF: Sports Biz. The Celtics likely just turned in the most profitable run in NBA postseason ...
The 2008 NBA Playoff Recap: What We Learned [Nba Season Wrapup]
Deadspin —
The 2008 NBA playoffs did more than just entertain us for the last seven or eight months. It taught us stuff. Some stuff we only suspected, and some other stuff we never even knew before. Here is that stuff. The Atlanta Hawks have fans...real, flesh-and-blood fans. Boston fans, on the other hand, apparently are bandwagon jumpers. The NBA will not tolerate "menacing" hand gestures. Ever. Kevin Garnett never forgets. "Third person" is LeBron James' preferred method of speaking. Basketball and rapper slap-fights can go hand-in-hand. Trash-talking ...
Don't Count Out the Nets!

Oh, the East is rising, what are we going to do about the one team that really improved itself, so far (the Sixers)? The New Jersey Nets picked in the lottery this year, but they have made some nice moves that may get them back in contention. ...
