So yesterday was the Heroes Baseball game. Mike Modano was on the Red Socks and Brenden Morrow was on the Black Socks. They announced that Mike Ribeiro was playing, but sadly he wasn’t there. Oh how I would’ve loved to see him pimp-walking between bases. Anyway, the Red Socks blew the Black Socks away 21-9 or something. ...

The Reebok 2008 Heroes Celebrity Baseball Game was held at Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco, TX on Saturday, benefitting The Mike Modano Foundation, the Little Heroes Foundation and all of us who sorely miss those halcyon days of MTV's Rock ‘n Jock  softball battles. The charity baseball game managed to bring together a rather eclectic group of Dallas-based sports stars: Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and guard Jason Terry, FC Dallas goalie Dario Sala, DeMarcus Ware of the Cowboys as well as Dallas Stars forwards Mike Modano and Brenden Morrow.
