D-Mac: 'That's How You Pronounce Our Name'
FanHouse —
Filed under: LSU Football, SEC, Heisman, Arkansas FootballLes Miles' verbal stumble -- pronouncing Arkansas as "Ar-Kansas" in his emotional press conference which seemed to be more about Michigan than LSU -- really connected with #5: Note to self: if you don't say it right, they're gonna getch'yo wood. Congrats to Darren McHeis-- er, McFadden and his Hogs for an amazing game against the #1 team in the nation. And thank you for one of the best post-game interviews of the season, too. We'll see you in NYC, D-Mac, where you're sure to mingle with another of the SEC's ...
That Great Arkansas-LSU Game
The Wiz of Odds —
Can't let the Arkansas-Louisiana State game — one of the best of the season — fade without three videos. First we have the highlight package. Seriously, how great is Darren McFadden? He's clearly the best player in college football. Clearly. And he's about to get screwed out of the Heisman. We also have trouble understanding Granny Holtz on this video. Perhaps he didn't use enough PoliGrip. Next we have an Arkansas fan who was being secretly taped. He gets so excited over the winning play that he faints, recovers, then runs out the front door and ...
Houston Nutt resigned, funny video tribute. We will miss you Coach Nutt
SEC Football Blogger —
Arkansas Razorback coach Houston Nutt resigned the other day. He had allegations swirling about him all year. They were about his personal life, and he also got off to a very bad 3-3 start. They will go a nice bowl game this year and the won the SEC West last year. I do not know why Arkansas fans were so mad…… wait a minute. I do know why. They did not like his coaching style. They thought it was too conservative. They were very frustrated. They won the SEC West with McFadden last year and they wanted a to win it all with him this year. Here are some great videos of Coach Nutt. Thanks for the memories Houston Nutt!! I do not know where he will go next, but I doubt he ...
McFadden Might Have That Wood, but Tim Tebow Got That Bronze.
Dub Sports Underground —
After upsetting LSU, Darren McFadden said he had that wood, however; it was not Run DMC who received the Bronze. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4BxKNcsUZHI Florida’s Tim Tebow won the 2007 Heisman Trophy and became the first sophomore to win College football’s top award. http://sports.espn.go.com/ncf/news/story?id=3146714 In my opinion, Darren McFadden deserved the Heisman. I do not agree with giving the award to a sophomore because he has two more seasons to prove himself, however; McFadden almost won it last year and as a senior he proved he is one of the best. Either way, the Heisman trophy is a pretty boy award and it really doesn’t ...

Garbage Points —
5. minnesota timberwolves - in the most impressive win of the weekend, the timberwolves defeated the suns 100-93 saturday night in minnesota. al jefferson had 32 points and 20 rebounds to lead minnesota to only their third win of the season. this meant coming into the game, the suns had won six times as many games by at least 10 points that the timberwolves had won by at least one. minnesota was obviously not interested in the past and held phoenix to their fewest point total of the year. even more impressively, a 4th quarter where each team only scored 13 points wasn't horribly boring. but i'm afraid the news isn't all rosy for the ...
Darren Mcfadden, DMac, Video, Highlight, Clips, Tribute
SEC Football Blogger —
This is a collection of great Darren Mcfadden videos. Darren Mcfadden is one of the best running backs in the history of college football. He finished second in the Heisman voting two years in a row. A few years from now, he will be known as the best player to never win a Heisman. He has broke countless Arkansas and SEC rushing records. He also has the coolest nicknames. D-Mac and Run DMC.
Darren McFadden is a beast. Here is a 2007 Heisman hype video.

Lane Kiffin Debuts the Wild Raider Offense
Friends of the Program —
Borrowing a page from the Houston Nutt playbook, Raiders Coach Lane Kiffin debuted (at least it’s the regular season debut, we don’t watch much preseason football) the “Wild Raider” offense (our name, not the Raiders) (f/k/a the Wildcat/Wildhog offense) featuring Darren McFadden at quarterback ...

Someone get me a fatted calf!
An excerpt from the Book of Frank, Chapter 15, Verses 11- 32
11 And He said, a certain man had but one son 12 and that rather excitable young man said to his Father, give me the portion of gridiron control that falleth to me. And because the Father loved his possibly egocentric ...
Yet Another Message from the Right Reverend Houston Nutt
Red Cup Rebellion —
Brothers and sisters, a time is coming. I say a tiiiiiiime is a'coming, when we shall all have to meet our devils on this lonely road of life. Ain't that right, Brother Pete? Man told me once, he said, "Reverend! Ask yo'self - when was the last time you seen the devil walking along yo' path." I said, "Brother, I ain't never seen the devil walking along my path." And he said, "REVEREND! Then maybe you and he going the same direction."
Brothers and sisters, a time is a'coming soon - dare I say SATURDAY - when we will see devils, spirits, ghouls and haints of all sort walking verily among these sacred grounds of Oxford. And if you don't ...
