The Rockets Rookies Dance Off
Dime Magazine —
In the first of many rookie hazing endeavors, Tracy McGrady got on the mic during halftime of the Rockets game this weekend, calling all rookies to center court for a dance-off. Shane Battier gleefully explained that unless you have played a game in your second year, you’re still a rook. Thus, it feels like 3/4 of the team is dancing while Battier, Yao, McGrady, Artest , and co. watch. When it’s all done, Luis Scola can thank Brent Barry for the dance moves…
Rockets Haze Rookies, Dance-Off Style
The Sporting Blog —
So last week, Rockets rookie Joey Dorsey was charming us all with his cheeky refusal to get hazed. Well, that didn't last. Dorsey, along with other Houston rookies, was recently forced to participate in a dance contest before thousands of fans. Which, seeing as it's automatically going to rule the internet, is actually pretty good for the kids, not an embarrassment. Build that brand, dude, build it up toward the sky. Like how many times a day do you think Shaq, Howard or LeBron gets asked to dance in public? And what about that whole Soulja Boy craze? ...

Rockets/Suns - we still have to wait two more days
The Dream Shake —
The next Yao/FatAss matchup is still two days away. And the Rockets have not played an actual NBA team since last Sunday (no, you don't count Clippers... and no, you definitely don't count Utah.)
Two days is a long time to wait. So, in the interim and for your entertainment, here is Luis Scola dancing:
You are welcome.
Mark Sanchez Protects the Ball, Jets Win!
The Big Lead —
Hopefully, the Jets won’t need a Monday Night Miracle tonight like they did in 2000, when Vinny Testeverde led New York to 30 points in the 4th quarter, and the Jets stunned the Dolphins, 40-37 in overtime. The Jets are three-point favorites on the road against a 1-3 Dolphins squad that features the best rushing attack in the NFL (183 yards per game) and an unproven QB (Michigan’s Drew Henne is making his second career start). This is an extremely pivotal early-season game for the Jets for multiple reasons:
* How will Mark Sanchez respond to his baptism in New Orleans? ...
