Orlando Magic all-star Dwight Howard took batting practice with the Phillies last April at Citizens Bank Park. Ryan Howard (no relation), Jimmy Rollins, Shane Victorino & Michael Bourn were all there to point and laugh encourage him. A 6′11″ frame isn’t exactly ideal for hitting a baseball, but after a quick tutorial from hitting coach Milt Thompson, Dwight was smoking liners from both sides of the plate. The video evidence:

Dwight looks a little lost at first but then starts to show some potential after getting some tips from Phillies hitting coach Milt Thompson:
