hero to most +4Solid game for Hinrich when you consider he played the rest of the night without his jock strap. -
Ben Q. Rock That ain't right. -
JaketheSnake That move was so smooth and quick that Hinrich didn't even get the chance to hit him in the nuts. -
Ben Q. Rock Let me follow up by adding that the move was indeed nasty, but not as nasty as Matt Bonner on Mark Madsen.-
RedBaron Best inconsequential backcourt ankle-breaking ever.-
Evil Empire Stop white-on-white violence!

You Break 'Em, You Buy 'Em: Crawford Owes Hinrich a Pair of Ankles
Published 1/9/2008 by Matt Watson at FanHouse
Filed under: Knicks, Bulls, Eastern, NBA Videos, Chicago, New York That's former Bull Jamal Crawford, absolutely abusing current Bull Kirk Hinrich last night. I'm curious, when all you're playing for is pride (neither the 13-20 Bulls nor the 9-24 Knicks will sniff the playoffs this year), shouldn't highlights like this count for more than just two points? For what it's worth (at least one more day of Isiah Thomas, I suppose), the Knicks won this game. Permalink | Email ...
Jamal Crawford Leaves Kirk Hinrich Searching For His Jock
Published 1/9/2008 at FanIQ Blog
The latest Chicago Bulls embarrassment which was detailed here was lowlighted by this rather sick undressing of Kirk Hinrich. It doesn't even matter if Jamal Crawford traveled, that was nasty.
Hinrich isn't just searching for his jock this morning. It's time to put an APB out for his game, too.
Kirk Hinrich Still Can’t Find Jamal Crawford

This is from last night’s Knicks/Bulls game, and it is what we call abuse. Don’t be so mean, Jamal.

To Hell With Thinking
Published 1/9/2008 by Fornelli at Foul Balls
I don't know what it is about today, but there's just nothing going on in the world of sports right now that I feel like dedicating a lot of time too. I'm working on a Conversations With God for Roger Clemens, but I don't like where it's going right now, and I'm unsure whether I'll finish it up and use it. As I said in the Diaries, I was going to write about the Bulls today, but I'm sick of complaining about things and after last night's collapse, complaining is all I could do. So instead I'm just going to do an extended version of the Foul Balls I put at the end of every column I write here now. It's quick, easy, and to the point. Plus I don't have to ...
Kirk Hinrich's Feelings Got Hurt
Published 1/9/2008 by Seth
In case you missed it last night, here's Jamal Crawford complete ankle-fucking of Kirk Hinrich in last night's win. Props to Matt Watson at the Fanhouse for the find. Knicks-Rockets tonight. Backatcha later.
THROWING KNIVES: WHEN A COACH LEAVES
Published 1/9/2008 by BD at EPIC CARNIVAL | SPORTS NEWS WITH A TWIST
by BD, Staff Writer I'm not sure about the rest of you, but I know whenever one of the coaches of my teams leaves for a better opportunity I fall into a Dark Defender-like mode. I spend the subsequent days scouring the Internet for his address, phone number and anything else that might help me come in direct contact with him. It also doesn't hurt to post all the information about his family members on team message boards and encourage my fellow fans to threaten them. The coach though, will be getting far more than a threat. None of the above is true of course. In large part because I'm an adult and my happiness doesn't in any way ...
NBA Wrap: Jason Kidd’s gets a triple double triple but not a win
Published 1/9/2008 by houroc at SportFiends
Bobcats beat the Nets at home
Before this game in Charlotte last night, Michael Jordan paid a visit to his troops and gave them a pep talk. Apparently it helped or maybe it was the fact that the Nets looked lethargic on defense and didn’t seem like they cared if they won the game or not. Whatever it was, the Bobcats beat the Nets at home last night 115-99. The win ended their 3 game losing streak and the Nets 5 game winning streak.
You can’t say that all of the Nets didn’t go hard though. Jason Kidd, who was sporting a pornstar-mustache look, recorded his third straight triple double for the ...

This is the sickest move I’ve seen all season in the NBA…Jamal Crawford breaks Kirk Hinrich’s ankles with a nasty juke:
Chris Bosh’s girlfriend and cousin start heckling LeBron…LeBron responds by scoring 24 points in the fourth quarter, and single-handedly leading the Cavs to a comeback win over Toronto:
Please Crawford, Don't Hurt 'Em

Don't ever get "AND 1"'d like this on national TV! The reaction of Kirk Hinrich's home crowd to how badly he got shook by Jamal Crawford is priceless.

- If you missed it the other day, here’s Jamal Crawford making Kirk Hinrich look mighty stupid with this move . - Everybody at the Dime office (especially Pat and myself) can’t wait until the new Batman movie, The Dark Knight , comes out. Check out the trailer . - This is hilarious . Apparently it’s not funny to the little kid. - Remember Street Fighter ? This kid gets a faceful of everyone from E. Honda to Guile . - If you don’t know who Reh Dogg is, we’d like to introduce you to him. Please, read the video description before watching.
Boston Celtics @ New York Knicks: 1/21/08 - Game Preview and Open Game Thread
Published 1/21/2008 by Jim
The last time the Boston Celtics played on Martin Luther King Jr. Day they lost to the Atlanta Hawks. What a difference a year makes. Of the nine players that saw time that day (Sebastian Telfair, Gerald Green, Al Jefferson, Ryan Gomes, Kendrick Perkins, Rajon Rondo, Allan Ray, Leon Powe and Michael Olowokandi) only Perk, Powe and Rondo remain. Furthermore, Green and Ray each scored 22 points to lead the Celtics in scoring. Ray is now out of the league and Green can't find minutes on an awful Minnesota Timberwolves team. Although Big Al's team leading 17 rebounds that day were in fact a harbinger of things to come. On the bright side Green did the following in ...
And the NBA Oscar goes to ...
Published 2/22/2008 at Ball Don't Lie
Quick disclaimer: I linked to a NBA Oscars post earlier this month. The crew at Le Basketbawl did a great job and I highly recommend you check theirs out. With that said, it's a quiet post-trade Friday, the Academy Awards are on Sunday, and well, I feel like handing out a few Oscar-inspired NBA hardware of my own. So grab a milkshake, enjoy the show, and let the academy (er, me) know where they went wrong in the comments. Best Picture: Los Angeles Lakers Sure, the Celtics have the best record (41-11), but no one is playing even close to the level the Lakers are right now. ...
Jamal Crawford’s Got Bette Davis Eyes

Bette Davis Eyes : Jamal will tease you. He ll unease you. All the better just to please you. He s precocious. And he knows just what it takes to make a pro blush… Don t believe me? Check out these crazy shake-and-bakes, killer crossovers, and sick ankle breakers like this one on Deron Williams or this on Kirk Hinrich … or this one on D-Wade or this one on Ben Gordon . What about this self-back board pass , this circus-shot , or some of these clutch game-winners . If the NBA gave out style points, Crawford would be a first ballot Hall-of-Famer. Because it doesn t, Jamal is one of the hardest ...
Oops, I Did It Again...
Published 4 days ago by Dave Snizewski (noreply@blogger.com) at Timberwolves Den
I’ve discussed McFail’s trade history on this blog before, but I feel like it deserves a quick peek before going into what’s out there as far as trades this off season. For the most part the trades that the Wolves Braintrust have made usually don’t work out, at least right off the bat. Sure, Donyell Marshall for Tom Gugliotta was a solid trade that immediately paid dividends, but it usually takes another deal to really make that deal count for something (turning down the Googs for Eddie Jones and Elden Campbell deal still hurts though). Take the Ray Allen-for-Stephon Marbury swap. It was pretty ...
