The Piston Post | A Detroit Pistons Blog —
… Dice was everywhere.
Hitting open jumpers, grabbing gritty offensive boards, and diving for loose balls- there was a win to be had and Antonio McDyess wasn’t soon going to let it slip away.
Finishing the night with a huge 21 points and 16 rebounds, Antonio once again showed his priceless worth to a team that often searches for a leader.
“You only have so many opportunities, and they’re limited, especially for me,” [McDyess] said. “I’m at the end of my career, and I just feel like leaving everything out on the floor.”
And then there was this.

YouTube of the Day: Jason Maxiell chases down Kevin Garnett
Ball Don't Lie —
I'm happy to report that this sick Jason Maxiell come-from-behind block on Garnett's breakaway dunk attempt already has a name. "The Big Denial." Good stuff, Natalie and company. Completely random question: Who do you think has a better shot of becoming an All-Star first — the baby eatin' Maxiell or Pacers' forward Danny Granger? My free flowin' locks could be on the line.

Introducing the Vancouver Scarier-Than-Memphis-Grizzlies

Detroit Pistons Player Previews: Jason Maxiell
Full-Court Press —
Measurables : Maxiell is a 6-7 power forward. He'll be 27 in February. He's listed at 260 pounds, and from the sound of things, he's not going to be any lighter . What he brings : It's clear that Maxiell and his development will be a key to the season this year. He's going into his fifth season and after showing some growth in 2007, he regressed a bit last season. Maxiell is a very energetic offensive player. He shoots 53 percent for his career, takes high percentage shots, blocks more than one shot per game per 36 minutes (impressive for a relatively small PF) and is capable of playing with a ton of energy. He's also developed a not bad little close range jumper ...
