The idea of bringing a fast break Lakers dunk to the Staples Center received no support at the Jason Maxiell(notes) council meeting last night. Councilor Shannon Brown(notes) put forward the motion to investigate the feasibility of the dunk, but no councilors — especially The Hon. Maxiell — were willing to second the motion. "It was a very disappointing result, but I will be pursuing the matter further," Brown may or may not have said. "No one eats my babies without repercussions."
