Jazz vs. Lakers - Game 3 Quick Recap
Published 5/10/2008 by C.B. Jack (noreply@blogger.com) at My Utah Jazz
Yep. It was just like that. The Dynamic Duo brought it full force tonight. This is just what the Jazz needed. Carlos Boozer went to the rim with a step he hasn't had the entire post season. Booze pulls down nearly 60% of the Jazz rebounds. And most importantly, he brought it in the last 3 minutes. ...

First things first, I still expect the Lakers will meet the Jazz in the next round, but Friday night will be an interesting contest. Expect the Jazz to play extremely physical with the finesse Lakers and try to wear Kobe and friends down while Los Angeles presses their transition game and lets Bryant close out games as only he can. It will be a more even matchup than most anticipate and it’s going to be a hell of a show.Postcards from L.A., Volume 5: Game 1 of the Western Conference Semi-Finals

Sunday was a domestic business day for me – do laundry, pay bills, retrieve groceries, run errands – not the most exciting or enjoyable time, but necessary to my continued survival. The Lakers 109-98 victory over the Utah Jazz was a similar endeavor as The Purple and Gold handled their respective chores and got the Game 1 win.38 Special: Lakers Ride Kobe Bryant's Scoring Outburst to a 109-98 Win Over Utah

Kobe Bryant's 38 points, seven assists and six rebounds in the Lakers' 109-98 game one win over the Jazz were actually only slightly above his playoff averages in those departments, an indication of just how high of a standard he has set for himself.Lakers/Jazz Thoughts

The Lakers head to Utah with a 2-0 lead in their best of seven series. So far the Lakers are undefeated in the play-offs, and are playing with that swagger that borders on over confidence. Other then a decided rebounding edge, Utah didn’t play their best ball in LA and are looking to get it back at home. Home is where they are 37-4, so the Lakers have their work cut out for them.Big Performance by Boozer Powers Jazz to Victory

Carlos Boozer scored nine straight points for Utah in less than three minutes in the fourth quarter to help the Jazz hold off a late Lakers' rally in game three of their second round series.
