... I would usually feel somewhat bad about making fun of a mere 18-year-old kid, but the little spiky-haired prick had his college commitment announcement at the College Football Hall of Fame. He can go suck himself.

As my sister is currently on an airplane heading towards Hawaii, I can't call her and tell her personally. Still, Megan, thank you for scheduling your wedding on Saturday so I didn't have to watch Notre Dame. You are truly a wonderful sister, and I love you.

Videos of the Year: Jimmy Clausen Wins 1st Almost Heisman
Published 12/21/2007 at FanIQ Blog
Shockingly, we've already entered this portion of the calendar. It's time to do that year in review sort of thing, so over the final days of 2007 we'll be looking back on the top sports events as highlighted by FanIQ. Since I'm hardly a wordsmith, you'll notice this amount to a video recap ...
I was planning to go through these videos in sequential order but I can't think of any better way to begin my holiday weekend (OK, I can, that comes next, rhymes with Bilson) by reminiscing Notre Dame football's follies. Particular those of Jimmy Clausen who picked up his first of four ...
BusinessWeek: NBC Blindsided by Notre Dame Football
Published 12/27/2007 by Brian Grummell at FanHouse
Filed under: Notre Dame Football, NCAA FB Media Watch, Featured Stories, The WordAs we all know by now, 2007 was not a good year for Notre Dame football. The Irish finished 3-9, lost to Navy, were shut out at home by USC, put together one of the worst offenses in college football history and otherwise stunk up the joint. For this, their home broadcasts on NBC took a hyuuuuuuge ratings hit and it's costing the network money money money (money!). NBC's television ratings on these games have fallen so precipitously that negotiations for Notre Dame's next TV deal may be ...

Brian Cook writes MGoBlog. He is a professional blogger and only puts on pants when he's cold. Yes, he has a girlfriend. STRENGTHS. Michigan's main asset this year is its rich history. And its stadium renovation. Michigan's two main assets this year are its rich history and its stadium renovation. And its irresistible attraction to people who want to get the hell out of West Virginia. And nice blue uniforms with lots of frippery that references the aforementioned rich history. I'll start again. Michigan's main asset this year is Mike Fucking Barwis. Raised ...
Minnesota: We Suck, But Look At This JUCO
Published 8/14/2008 by Brian at mgoblog
THE MOST ENTERTAINING SUBPLOT of the 2007 season was "will Notre Dame's offense finish as the most pathetic of the millenium?" Despite finishing a whopping 27 yards behind last year's second most impotent offense, Florida International, the answer was no. Rutgers' 2002 abomination still stands.
At first blush this seems to have little to do with Minnesota, but the Gophers were the defensive equivalent of Jimmy Clausen and the Yakety Sax Crew last year, finishing 119th -- dead last -- in total defense, well behind such luminaries as Rice, UTEP, SMU, and San Diego State. (Keep this in mind if Notre Dame RETURNS TO GLORY ...
Notre Dame Fans Create Revenge Yakety Sax Michigan Highlights
Published 25 days ago at FanIQ Blog
The Michigan - Notre Dame rivalry has lost some national luster in recent years as the Wolverines abused the Irish the last two season, and now it's the Maize and Blue who are struggling mightily. The closest game in the last four years was the ND 17-0 shutout of Michigan in 2004. That's OK, it's still a very compelling rivarly thanks to a little YouTube fun after the last two games/debacles.
I'm sure you recall the "Jimmy Clausen for Heisman" highlight reel above that was created shortly after Clausen and Notre Dame played on of the worst game in their long history ...

Now, that earlier post with the 1975 game was quite fascinating, but I also an ulterior motive for posting it: so I could provide this “Irish” video compilation without karmic retribution later today. It’s just all in good fun, though.
We’ll start with “Danny Boy”, as performed by Beaker, Swedish ...
