I don’t know what it says about our culture that the most highly publicized at bat of the Grapefruit League this year involved a former Saturday Night Live cast member who is older than three-fourths of the managers in today’s game. It’ll be quite a lead-in for “Jimmy Kimmel Live” on Thursday night, as Jose Canseco will be appearing on ABC’s “Nightline” to discuss his new book. The biggest can of worms opened up by Canseco’s “Vindicated ” are the allegations that Jose hooked Alex Rodriguez up with a steroids supplier .
