Inside PSU's Practice
Published 4/1/2008 by JB at There Is No Name On My Jersey
I didn't find this, and it is to my eternal shame, but there is some awesome video of PSU's spring practice up at GOPSF.com. (HT: Swindle @ EDSBS). Or, you can watch if for yourself right here. It also confirms that Joe is a fiery golden god of coaching. I've said it before and I'll say it again: PSU needs to let Joe coach for as long as he wants to! Also, you can watch Green rip off a huge run. He is going to be an impact player in the fall, write it down. On an unrelated note, TNL is reporting that Rich-fucking-Kotite is ...

Published 4/1/2008 by Mike <info@blackshoediaries.com> at Black Shoe Diaries

Our guess is that it's all tied to the contract standoff between Paterno and university president Graham Spanier and trustees who want this season to be Paterno's last. As you can see from the clips, the 81-year-old Paterno is rather involved in this practice, at one point telling a lineman to pull his shirt down. Thanks to ...

It's the Twenty-First Century

Compare and contrast, rippling young recruit: Pete Carroll, singling out defensive end/nightmare machine Everson Griffen in a meeting Tuesday, and Joe Paterno, running his 59th Spring practice, and both men's records this decade: ...

Has he decided?
Published 4/11/2008 by Massey at Buckeye Commentary
We debated it earlier this year, but it is nearly official now. Joe Paterno channeled his internal Lloyd Carr and put off his contract negotiations until after the 2008 season. From where I sit, this can only mean one thing: Joe Pa is retiring at the end of this season. You heard it hear first. (Maybe not.) ...
