Funny Video . This is an old video and is not news. This is from September 9th 2006. It was during Chien Ming Wang’s first full season with the Yankees . Joe Torre is in his post game interview in his office. He winds up telling all of the Taiwanese media to get out because they were so annoying :-)

If you watch it, it's not Joe Torre telling them to get out.  Someone off-camera is telling (it sounds like) the TV/Taiwanese media to move out of the room at about the 1:53 mark.  It's unclear why.

There's no reason to think it's because of the Taiwanese media.

It is right after " another " annoying Wang question.

Listen to the question. The reporter asked if he kept Arod and Giambi out of the lineup because he was so confident in Wang.

I meant he asked them to leave "Via his assistant". He most likely told his assistant to pull them out as soon as they started asking those type questions.

It is clear to me that they were getting on his nerves.

I posted the vid because I thought it was cool.

Joe Torre, Taiwanese media out, please! Funny Video. This is an old video and is not news. I just saw that it had a few Youtube hits, and thought that it was a better video than that. This is from September 9th 2006. It was during Chien Ming Wang’s first full season with the Yankees. Joe Torre is in his post game interview in his office. The Taiwanese reporters are asking annoying questions that all come back to Chien Ming Wang. That is, after all, the only reason they are in America. That is the only reason they are away from their families. That is ...

Ian a no go for Mets series

There was plenty of speculation that Ian Kennedy would make his return to the New York Yankees on June 27th. That day the Yankees will be playing a split-stadium, day-night doubleheader against the New York Mets. Even with the recent injury to Chien-Ming Wang, the team has decided against rushing the youngster back, instead opting to make sure he’s healthy for the long haul.
