Thanks for Teshing up “God Bless America” Josh Groban. I am truly sorry for the title. I have no idea what else to call it. Josh Groban sang God Bless America before the 2008 Allstar game and he Teshed it up big time. To Tesh Something Up: To sing a good song in a manner that one might make it seem that it could just as easily be sung by John Tesh. I just made up the term. Feel free to use it. Feel free to Tesh up a Spice Girls song in the shower this morning, but please do not Tesh up any of our American Classics. ...

AP: Crow, Groban to perform at All-Star Game
Where’s the token Canadian? Why was Five Finger Death Punch snubbed? So very wrong. Nine-time Grammy winner Sheryl Crow will sing the national anthem before baseball’s All-Star game on Tuesday night, and classical pop star Josh Groban will sing God Bless America during the seventh inning stretch. On Monday night, rock band 3 Doors Down will perform two songs before the home run derby.
Highlights and lowlights from the ASG
#1 highlight:  Josh Groban’s singing of GBA. #1 lowlight: Edinson Volquez’ hat. It was interesting that with almost everyone wanting the game to end (I assume), the home plate umpire, Cousins, calls the winning run out when he was clearly (at least if you watched the replay) safe by a mile even though the throw beat him.  I guess Cousins was positive that he was ...
