To me, one word sums up Josh Hamilton's performance in the Home Run Derby today, and that is AMAZING!!! Now I'm sure most of you have heard or read about Josh Hamilton's come back story, but if you haven't, please take a few minutes of your time, and read it here. Hamilton's story is honestly unreal, and this is truly an inspirational story, so hopefully people can take away something from it, and it can give some others hope in their lives. And after watching this home run derby today, I definitely feel like Hamilton is just destined for greatness. Did you guys see some of those monster shots he hit tonight? Even my dad was going crazy watching ...

I'll be the first to admit that going into last night's Home Run Derby I had very low expectations. It was a group of guys that were thrown together, reminisicent of the way the NBA's Slam Dunk contest has fallen in recent years. Obviously the fact that a lot of the big names didn't want to participate is a huge factor in the decline of both competitions, but this one was at Yankee Stadium, one of the most famous venues in all of sports, and should have been matched with names of that caliber. ...

Apparently Josh Hamilton can hit the ball far. That's fairly entertaining. For every home run, head over to MLB.com. I feel pretty sorry for the Ranger batting practice pitcher. Between Hamilton, Milton Bradley, and Ian Kinsler.
