Josh Smith Dunk Punctuates Atlanta Loss
Intentional Foul —
Oh well, at least the Hawks went down with style to the Celtics, who won their 16th-straight, 88-85. The win, which puts them at 24-2, continues the best start to a season by a defending NBA champion. Ever.
While Smith’s Dominique-esqe dunk brought the house down (on Kendrick Perkins’ head), Smith missed the subsequent free throw, which, in my eyes, nullifies the possession because even though the Hawks crowd was buzzing like mad after Smith’s dunk, the Celtics came right back and scored with Kevin Garnett in the post.
While his baby ...

I got a good night's sleep, some fresh perspective, and now I'm back at it
today and ready to turn the page on last night's game.
I was having a discussion with some co-workers this morning about which
Boston loss hurt worse, the Paul Pierce buzzer-beater in Boston back on Nov. 12,

What does this mean for OKC? Well, for this season ...

The Off-Color Commentator —
Much like the last video of a dunk that I intended to post but then forgot, I meant to post this about a week ago, when it actually happened. I kind of posted it mentally in my brain but then didn't actually do the real-life electronic posting. Nevertheless, it was quite enjoyable to watch. I once did a dunk like that on a Nerf hoop.
