Following Sunday's Lenox 301 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, JPM fully admitted that he intentionally spun Sprint Cup point leader Kyle Busch late in the event under caution after the two had bumped on track. Before we go any further, watch below at 0:46: As you can see, the discontent among the two began when Busch drove JPM up the hill in turn one. ...

Meandering among the Loudon Marbles.

This year's first race at Loudon is over. Finally! I fully understand that the enjoyment of watching a race goes hand in hand with the results of my particular driver, For instance, I thoroughly enjoyed watching Sonoma, and I hated watching today's race at Loudon. And yes, it depended totally on how my driver fared. Major belated props to David Gilliland for last week's podium finish at Infineion Raceway. He impressed fans and peers alike, receiving accolades from the likes of Kyle Busch, Tony Stewart, and Jeff Gordon, along with a host of media writers and broadcasters. He deserved every bit of the ...

Temper, Temper
Published 6/30/2008 by Cameron (noreply@blogger.com) at las vegas
Kyle Busch and Juan Montoya had meeting of the fenders towards the end of Sunday's race in New Hampshire. Before the final caution came out the two were racing each other hard and after they both took the caution Busch rubbed into Montoya's car, Montoya didn't appreciate that and turned Busch unfortunately it didn't work out well for Montoya, as he was tagged by Busch's spinning car and spun out also. NASCAR didn't really care for Montoya's actions and penalized him two laps dropping him from 25th to 32nd in the final results. "He hit me under caution, he hit me under green and I retaliated," Montoya said. "Did I go too far in retaliating? Yeah. I ...

Juan Pablo Montoya Wrecks Kyle Busch Intentionally
Published 6/30/2008 at FanIQ Blog
In the NASCAR hate list, Kyle Busch is unquestionably #1 right now, and right behind him is Juan Pablo Montoya. For the most part, this is due to their overly aggressive driving styles and less than winning personalities (and in the case of JPM, possibly his nationality). This all came to a head with JPM got mad at Busch about something, and responded the way reasonable men do, by wrecking Busch. ...

Create-a-chatter: Juan Pablo and the D00D do a two-step
Published 7/1/2008 by Jay Busbee at From the Marbles
Hey, here's something new. It's create-a-caption combined with Pit Chatter! Since I'm on vacation and hanging on the golf course engaged in other research pursuits, there won't be an official Pit Chatter this week. But we can't let something as meaty as the Kyle Busch / Juan Pablo Montoya dustup from this past weekendpass unremarked, can we? Of course not! Of such on-track insanity is The Marbles made! So here's where you come in. Make your own caption for the events at right -- here's video if you need more inspiration or context. You can make it one-and-done on the comments, or you can go full-scale Pit ...

Some New Hampshire observations…
Kurt Busch, Michael Waltrip, and J.J. Yeley were your top three. That is one strange threesome. All those drivers were around the 20th spot at lap 270. Being out front in was the best thing possible for you car most of the race, but the pit strategy won out in the end. What was up with Juan Pablo Montoya and Kyle Busch out on the race track??? It does not look like they will solve ...
View From the Couch: Loudon
For the first 270 laps, Sunday’s race at New Hampshire was pretty tame. The leaders maintained comfortable leads with ease, the top ten positions didn’t change much and barring problems, cars were pretty much locked into a comfortable position and no one was passing. Then a caution came out when Jamie McMurray plowed through Dale Earnhardt Jr and suddenly all hell broke loose. The ...

the other busch brother finally wins
Here’s what I will say about the race at New Hampshire this past weekend: It was a good day for Kurt Busch and that’s pretty much it. It was a good thing to see Patrick Carpentier capture the pole on Friday; you can’t take that away from the guy. Kurt needed a win in the worst way, but as usual I would prefer it if people could win — especially the much needed ones ...
