OSU's big presentation was due Saturday afternoon, and quite frankly, a lot of the Cowboys weren't pulling their weight -- starting running back Kendall Hunter was nursing an ankle injury, while star receiver Dez Bryant was sent to the principal's office for hanging out with a bad crowd. In my mind, the three marquee conference matchups came down to those cliched big plays. Small individual moments helped decisively swing each of them one way or the other.
So I didn't take much from the results of these ones about everyone stacks up, other than, "These last seven games for Cal are going to be real tough."

Mike Stoops bewilders me. Every now and then his Wildcats lose a game they shouldn't. This is one of them. Although I hardly blame him for the defeat, he did make some questionable decisions down the stretch.
