Zorgon I saw it live. I was expecting 3OT, and then all of a sudden- BOOM! And I just shouted, "OH MY GOD!!!!....Wow....." Much, much more amazing to see it live. -
Patrick First, congrats to Kevin Durant and the Sonics. It was a hell of a win in double OT. Second, that was a horrible shot. He took an off balance shot from about 26 feet with a guy in his face when all the Sonics needed to win was one point. Hey, we celebrate him because he made it, but 9 times out of 10, that shot doesn't go in.-
Ben Q. Rock Where poor shot-selection happens.

This Kevin Durant Kid Might Be Good Someday -- Hits Game Winner in Atlanta
Published 11/17/2007 at FanIQ Blog
Go ahead a make a mental note of the date: November 16th, 2007. The day one of the game's best ever hit his first buzzer beater.
Kevin Durant is going to take his lumps this rookie season. It won't always be pretty and his shooting percentage has been showing that, but he's not your ordinary rookie. How many have you witnessed over the years that want the ball with the game on the line, get the ball with game on the line and deliver. This was Durant's 10th game as a professional. Can't wait for the rest.

Where Kevin Durant Happens

Filed under: Hawks, SuperSonics, NBA Videos, Atlanta, SeattleI think Kevin Durant has heard all this 'Yi Jianlian for Rookie of the Year' talk. Rookie on rookie violence, right Al Horford? What's more exhilarating, the shot or the chest pounding? Dude knows who he is, you can say that. That said, it's starting to look like this team won't be as awful as we thought: Road wins aren't easy to come by for young squads, and yes that's two in a row. A victory over atrocious Miami isn't extraordinary, but stepping into Atlanta and pulling it out ...

Lil' Romeo is going to USC...(In a retalitory move, Bow-Wow is considering UCLA ) Poor, poor Minnesota: Randy Foye is going to miss 3 more weeks ... without Foye, Minnesota is relying on Sebastian Telfair and Marko Jaric, which is like relying on a life raft on the Titanic. Minnesota is also missing Theo Ratliff at center; they may not win again until December 15th, when they face Seattle. The Celtics finally lost , and Orlando controlled the game for nearly 45 minutes. Looking at the box score, there is one thing that stands out: Kevin Garnett didn't attempt a single free throw. This is the ...

Monday-Mini Video Blowout

I didn't get the Friday Video Blowout out last week so here's a little mini one to get your week started. The first video is classic. Courtesy in order of The Big Lead , EC , Who ate all the pies , We Are the Postmen , 100% IR This is my favorite video perhaps of all time. You would think this would have been more entertaining than the typical human tetris, but alas Asians are funnier than models. Hmm this Kevin Durant may be good. Who knew. Whoops wrong goal. That is the precise reason why he's the starting QB. Good interview...
Kevin Durant: Not Sure How He Could Be Better
Published 3/4/2008 at ESPN.com - True Hoop - Blog
As a rookie, Kevin Durant has had his moments. But by and large, the opening season of the Durant era has not been the victory tour everyone had been planning. In place of highlights and victories there have been missed shots and losses. Last summer he was, sing it with me, the next Michael Jordan. As his rookie year winds up, he's more like the latest guy who was once the next Michael Jordan, but still has a ton to prove. Kobe Bryant and LeBron James can tell you that it can take a long time to get out of that club. By a million statistical measures Durant has been pretty much just bad, ...

#4. Nick Collison, 5th Year Power Forward (Hoop Dreams.) Best Season: 07-08 with the SuperSonics, 29 Minutes, 10 Points, 9 Rebounds, 1 Assist, 1 Steal, 1 Block, 50% FG%, 74% FT% Okay, this list isn't very controversial, but if there was something to argue, it would probably be Nick Collison going so high. Honestly, ...
