I m still shaking my head at the Bill Russell/Kevin Garnett schmaltzfest that I witnessed during halftime of the Celtics/Cavs on Saturday. Man what the freaking flipping frick? I don t know what offends me more Bill Russell s sanctimonious made-for-television brand of artificial emotion, the Field of Dreams movie music and its air of bizarrely portentous mysticality, or Stuart Scott wrapping the whole thing by informing us with macho gravitas that if you don t have chill-bumps right now, then you just don t get it.
